Help and Inspire People Through Running -- At New York Road Runners, it is our goal to give everyone on the planet both a reason to run and the means and opportunity to keep running and never stop.Over the past 60-plus years, we have grown from a local running club to a global champion of the running movement. We are the world’s premier community running organization, and our efforts and events serve all runners and active individuals, from beginners to professional athletes: the young, the elderly, and the underserved of all abilities.We impact the lives of people throughout the five boroughs and around the world through a wide variety of events and programs for people of all ages and abilities.

Established in 1992, the Black Women in Sport Foundation, or BWSF, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the involvement of black women and girls in all aspects of sport, including athletics, coaching and administration. BWSF’s work, however, is not limited to black women and girls. It enrolls girls and boys in the programs conducted throughout the city of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. It facilitates the involvement of women of color in every aspect of sport in the United States and around the world, through the "hands-on" development and management of grass roots level outreach programs.

The mission of the U.S. Soccer Foundation is to provide underserved communities access to innovative play spaces and evidence-based soccer programs that instill hope, foster well-being, and help youth achieve their fullest potential.We view soccer as a powerful vehicle for social change. By supporting the development of places to play, places to grow, and places to learn, our goal is to ensure that children in underserved communities have easy and affordable access to quality soccer programs that support their physical and personal development.

Our mission is to ensure that every girl reaches her full potential by providing girls ages 9-13 an opportunity and in many cases, their only chance to participate in sport and physical activity. We endeavor to harness the natural properties of sport to propel young women into competitive, male-dominated careers especially those at the intersection of science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and sports. We offer programs and resources designed to transform girls' motivation into an "I am unstoppable" attitude. It is our goal to help girls everywhere find the courage to do things beyond the field of play that they never thought possible. We believe that girls given the opportunity to play on a team become women who have the confidence to stand on their own

THE MISSION OF THE USTA FOUNDATION IS TO BRING TENNIS AND EDUCATION TOGETHER TO CHANGE LIVES Using this powerful combination, we help serve up dreams for under-resourced youth. The USTA Foundation is a 501 c(3) charitable organization incorporated in 1994 as the philanthropic entity of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). USTA Foundation uses the sport of tennis as a vehicle to help under-resourced youth become more engaged in school and learning with the goal of succeeding in tennis and in life. To that end, we support programs nationwide that leverage tennis and education to help those in need, primarily through the National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) network. The NJTL network features more than 270 chapters that reach over 130,000 youth on an annual basis, providing free or low-cost tennis and education programming to the 50 largest markets in the U.S. - nurturing future leaders and enabling kids in need to succeed on the court, in the classroom and in life. Our efforts are making a difference. To date, we have awarded more than $64 million in program services, grants and scholarships to hundreds of programs, benefitting thousands of children and adults through tennis, education and health curricula. Our mission creates play, dignity and social equity for children with disabilities through inclusive playgrounds and education programs that unite children of all abilities. Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration has grown into a powerful network of 80 inclusive, sensory and literacy-rich playgrounds throughout the world. Our Together, We Are Able education program is in over 67 countries and transforms the playgrounds into classrooms where children with and without disabilities learn to see beyond their differences.

LEAP's mission is to develop the strengths and talents of young leaders who create and implement year-round, community- and school-based programming designed to achieve positive academic and social outcomes for children living in high poverty urban neighborhoods. Our goal is to create and implement a multi-tier mentoring model where young people of all ages are welcomed, educated and provided opportunities to grow within LEAP.
