The DC Furies Women’s Rugby Team was founded in 1978 and play at the most competitive level of Women’s Club Rugby and participates in the Women’s Premiere League (WPL). The Furies play in local, national and international matches and host the annual Ruggerfest each Spring, one of the most popular tournaments in women’s club rugby. The Furies promote the empowering nature of team sport by teaching young women rugby.

BAWSI mobilizes the women’s sports community to engage, inspire, and empower girls from under-resourced neighborhoods and children with disabilities by providing free, school‑based and after‑school sports and leadership programs that increase physical activity, confidence, and opportunities to lead. This work focuses on removing cost and transportation barriers and developing leadership through sports.

The Somis Thursday Club has served the Camarillo area for over one hundred years. The club pursues a number of activities to promote culture, education and civic welfare among the citizens of Somis and the adjacent communities.
