Founded in 1949, ABGC provides high-impact, affordable youth development programs and services for youth ages 6-18 in Alameda, CA. Since our inception, we have changed the lives of more than 75,000 children. We are the only youth development organization in Alameda open to youth from all schools and backgrounds, every day and evening after school and during school vacations. We specifically target low-income and at-risk youth to provide them with the opportunities their more privileged peers receive and to prepare them for a great future.

Founded in 2015, the Girls’ Ultimate Movement (GUM) is a community-wide outreach program designed to increase girls’ participation in the sport of ultimate. Players, coaches, administrators and parents across the US are thrilled to be participating in GUM. As an explosive team sport that emphasizes character and leadership skills, ultimate is the NEXT big sport for girls. The Girls’ Ultimate Movement focuses on creating opportunities for youth and high school aged girls to participate in sports, lead with their peers, and celebrate the beauty of sport with their opponents. Through the Girls’ Ultimate Movement, USA Ultimate is collaborating with some of the nation’s most passionate and dedicated leaders to generate new and innovative ideas for programming, infrastructure, and policy that will facilitate development of the girls’ division!

The Imus Ranch

Founded by Don Imus and Deirdre Imus in 1998, the ranch was conceived and designed with the sole purpose of providing the experience of the great American cowboy to children suffering from cancer or serious blood disorders, and children who’ve lost brothers and sisters to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Our objectives are to encourage in them a sense of achievement, responsibility and self-esteem, and to instill pride and restore their dignity as they become aware of just how much they are able to accomplish. Many have become convinced that because they are sick they are not normal. At The Imus Ranch they quickly discover that they can do anything any other kid can do. Well over 1,000 kids have.

The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a mile-and-a-half of contemporary parks in the heart of Boston. The Greenway, a roof garden atop a highway tunnel, connects people and the city with beauty and fun. The non-profit Conservancy maintains, programs, and improves the Greenway on behalf of the public and in partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Eagle Mount Bozeman

Eagle Mount Bozeman was founded in 1982 by General Robert Mathis USAF(Ret.) and his wife Greta Mathis. It was their dream to start a program providing therapeutic recreation for people with disabilities and youth with cancer. The first year began with a skiing program hoping to serve 20-30 participants. It was quickly realized the great need for these services as 94 participants enjoyed therapeutic skiing the first year. Eagle Mount Bozeman now serves more than 2,000 people with disabilities and utilizes more than 2,000 volunteers per year. Eagle Mount Bozeman is committed to provide quality therapeutic recreational opportunities for people with disabilities and young people with cancer, and to provide support for families of participants so that "they shall mount up with wings as eagles."
