The mission of The First Tee of Greater Dallas is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, still life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The chapter serves the Greater Dallas community, including Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis and other surrounding counties. BBSEF (formerly Bogus Basin Ski Racing Alliance) was founded in 1967, to provide training and competition programs for aspiring young ski racers. Today BBSEF has grown to include freeskiing and snowboard programs. BBSEF has programs for ages 6 -19 who want to compete in alpine ski racing, freeskiing & snowboarding. Our focus is the development of the athlete as a whole. We believe the overall impact of sports goes well beyond the athletic results, instilling: sportsmanship, accountability, building character and confidence. Sports bring opportunities to make new friends, dream, and work toward the future. It’s no surprise that the Athletes of BBSEF have gone on to become collegiate scholars, Olympians, and leaders in their communities. The organization sponsors and produces numerous concerts and gallery showings throughout the year. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend any and all events.

DARE (Drug & Alcohol Recovery & Education) Network is a grassroots national NGO. DARE Network provides culturally appropriate non-medical treatment & prevention education to reduce substance abuse & associated social issues within the communities of displaced ethnic people from Burma, along the Thai/Burma border. DARE Network envisions the strength of ethnic people from Burma to use the power of recovery from addiction as a non-violent means to resist oppression. A Free Mind Cannot Be Destroyed.
