AFUNO is a nonprofit tax-exempt charity organization dedicated to providing footwear to students who are in dire need. Our main focus is to ensure that, all students have an adequate pair of shoes and also focus on making sure that no students walk to school barefooted. We are taken the first step to help the underprivileged school-aged and the talented to have the opportunity to own a pair of shoes. Your unwanted footwear creates opportunity many need. Walking becomes unbearable. Every day many children are prevented from attending school or sport activity, adults are unable to work, farmers are unable to farm their land, and doctors and nurses cannot properly and professionally perform their duties as a medical professional, they cannot properly provide a medical footwear to a child in need because they know that in this hardship financial conditions, parents can't afford one. A new pair of shoes provides relief in many people's lives in Haiti, in times of disaster, and helps bridge the economic gap in the South and South-West of Haiti. This is why your donation makes a huge impact in the Haitian families. So, we need your help to keep on going.
Established in 2004, Blue Dragon Children's Foundation protects and empowers children and adults who are victims or at-risk of trafficking. We rescue those who are homeless or have been trafficked for sexual and labour exploitation, providing them with immediate safety and comprehensive after-care support. Our holistic approach addresses the unique needs of each individual, offering services such as counselling, shelter, education, vocational training, employment opportunities, and everything else they need to live their lives and thrive. Beyond rescue and care, Blue Dragon collaborates with impoverished and at-risk communities to strengthen their resilience against trafficking and exploitation. By combining direct intervention with long-term prevention programs, we aim to reduce risks, protect vulnerable groups and create safer environments for children and families. Additionally, we draw on our experiences to advocate for systemic change, working toward improved policies and laws that protect children and youth across Vietnam. In 2024, we achieved significant milestones, expanding our operations to three new locations: Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An province in central Vietnam, and Bac Lieu province in the Mekong Delta. With the continued support of our global community, we are reaching more children and families in need than ever, helping them overcome crises and build brighter futures.

There is something about playing the game that lights up a youngster’s eyes. But for children facing serious physical and mental disabilities that opportunity can often be difficult to achieve. Baseball diamonds weren’t exactly designed with wheelchairs and crutches in mind. The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime. Since the main barriers for these children arise from the natural grass fields used in conventional youth leagues, Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries. But it’s more than playing a game. The Miracle League is about making new friends, building self-esteem and being treated just like other kids. To help the athletes, the Miracle League uses a “buddy” system – pairing each player with an able-bodied peer. The result is an experience that lasts a lifetime for all participants. The Miracle League serves children who suffer from disabilities that may cause them to be excluded from conventional youth baseball leagues. According to the 2000 Census Bureau, there are 12.3 million children in our country between the ages of 5 and 19 who suffer from some form of mental or physical disability.
