There is something about playing the game that lights up a youngster’s eyes. But for children facing serious physical and mental disabilities that opportunity can often be difficult to achieve. Baseball diamonds weren’t exactly designed with wheelchairs and crutches in mind. The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime. Since the main barriers for these children arise from the natural grass fields used in conventional youth leagues, Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices while helping to prevent injuries. But it’s more than playing a game. The Miracle League is about making new friends, building self-esteem and being treated just like other kids. To help the athletes, the Miracle League uses a “buddy” system – pairing each player with an able-bodied peer. The result is an experience that lasts a lifetime for all participants. The Miracle League serves children who suffer from disabilities that may cause them to be excluded from conventional youth baseball leagues. According to the 2000 Census Bureau, there are 12.3 million children in our country between the ages of 5 and 19 who suffer from some form of mental or physical disability.

OUR MISSION IS TO ESTABLISH AND PROMOTE YOUTH MENTORSHIP AND A GOLF PROGRAM THAT FOSTERS AN ENVIRONMENT FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND HEALTHY LIVING FOR CHILDREN FROM UNDERSERVED DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE GAME OF GOLF, WHICH WOULD BE OTHERWISE VERY EXPENSIVE ON A PRIVATE LEVEL AS WELL AS FOSTER COMMUNITY. OUR PROGRAMS ARE INCLUSIVE FOR ALL AGES, ABILITIES, ETHNIC AND CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS. AT PRESENT 2 MAJOR PROGRAM STREAMS ARE ENVISIONED:1. GOLF COURSES ARE DESIGNED TO GET YOUTH OF ALL AGES MOVING AND INTERACTING, FOSTERING PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING THROUGH THE GAME OF GOLF.2. COMMUNITY BUILDING AND YOUTH MENTORSHIP IS A PROGRAM AIMED AT TEACHING YOUTH LIFE LESSONS AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS.

FCD has the following missions 1. To educate individual farmers and Self Help Groups (SHG) and provide them with the most accurate data on crop prices, market demands and supplies across the globe through mobile services and at her micro data centers, thus improving wealth creation and employment 2. Bringing out the potentials and skills from individuals and groups for equality and sustainable development through training, mentoring, and provision of seed capitals to farmers through linking them to financial institutions. 3. Creation of a network of partners amongst startups, farmers, donors, angel investors and Diaspora through 24hr online services platforms available for communication.

YKIP is a foundation committed to improving the lives of marginalized communities in Bali by breaking the cycle of poverty through educational support and services. The targets of marginalized communities are: (1) children from economically disadvantaged families; (2) social groups who suffer from disaster; (3) orphans; and (3) physically disabled.

PLAY International is a charity founded in 1999 on a conviction: sport is a source of solutions to our societal challenges. Breaking the Poverty Cycle Through Education

CTF was born from the idea that the world would be a better place if we were all given the opportunity to give back. Established by a group of water women, we feel it is our calling to help others by teaming up with local organizations globally to raise awareness and address social, environmental, health and safety concerns in the places we visit. We aim to bridge the gap between the traveler and our projects enabling travelers to add a life-changing experience to their journeys and add purpose to travel.
