Founded in 1949, ABGC provides high-impact, affordable youth development programs and services for youth ages 6-18 in Alameda, CA. Since our inception, we have changed the lives of more than 75,000 children. We are the only youth development organization in Alameda open to youth from all schools and backgrounds, every day and evening after school and during school vacations. We specifically target low-income and at-risk youth to provide them with the opportunities their more privileged peers receive and to prepare them for a great future.

Educating Playfully supports children's programs that foster social emotional learning through a variety of engaging and playful activities such as theatre, sports, music, and more. Our goal is to help children develop crucial life skills, enabling them to handle social situations maturely, express emotions effectively, and build strong, healthy relationships.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South County is dedicated to providing a safe and harmonious environment for youth of all backgrounds and to help them develop qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.

Their mission: We will direct our efforts, resources and energy toward the eradication of sexual exploitation, with an emphasis on the sexual exploitation of children. Whether they're victims of trafficking, forced prostitution, online enticement or child pornography—our mission is to end all sex crimes by targeting the DEMAND side of sexual exploitation. DreamYard is committed to helping transform Bronx schools and communities through the power of innovative, project based arts education. Our schools and students are based in the nation's poorest urban county, with one-third of the Bronx's residents living below the poverty line. In response, DreamYard programs are designed to challenge the cyclical systems of inequality and poverty by empowering youth to discover and develop their best possible selves and to locate meaningful paths and ways to engage with their fellow students, schools, families, and communities. As the largest arts education provider in the Bronx, DreamYard critically impacts the social and intellectual growth of thousands of Bronx youth through safe, positive and creatively challenging programs. DreamYard's team of professional artists partner with classroom teachers and community educators to help students learn how to express, write and perform their own stories. Through year-long programs offered during the school day, after school, on weekends and during the summer, DreamYard supports youth development, enhances life-long learning skills, and promotes creative thinking and expression. DreamYard artists spark an interest in education that often lies latent in our youth. The organization understands that it is imperative to direct a young person's creativity toward positive goals as we strive to develop well-rounded and engaged citizens. Through DreamYard, young people believe that they can have an impact and change their communities and society as a whole. Its projects are catalysts that help teachers and communities propel students and their families into a life-long learning process.

The mission of the Andy Roddick Foundation is to work with our community to expand opportunities for young people to learn, thrive, and succeed.  We believe that talent is universal but understand that opportunity is not, and we know opportunity matters. Children in low-income communities experience an opportunity gap – they consistently have less enriching opportunities outside the school day than their better-off peers. To eliminate this gap, the Andy Roddick Foundation develops and invests in effective programs to create meaningful opportunities for children to learn, succeed, and thrive.
