The mission of The Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City is two-fold: first, to give voice to neglected and new works of the African-American experience in the American Theatre Canon. The Center for Asian Pacific American Women (CAPAW) is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to the enhancement and enrichment of leadership skills for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) women through education, networking, and mentorship. For over 20 years, CAPAW has provided a variety of professional development programs – from intensive training institutes to national leadership summits to one day regional seminars and workshops – to address the specific needs of AAPI women across the country. CAPAW’s vision is to develop ethical and compassionate AAPI women to take on leadership roles in the private and public sectors.

Funding the Future educates young adults on the importance of making smart financial decisions. Utilizing multimedia presentations integrating live music, video and an inspirational message shared by musical celebrities, our message emphasizes the importance of financial literacy at a young age, providing kids the tools necessary to make informed life decisions, and providing the discipline and confidence to achieve their own dreams. Avoiding unnecessary debt and making sound financial decisions has a significant impact on young lives, their families lives, their communities, and even the environment.

The Mission of The Mayfly Project is to support children in foster care through fly fishing and introduce them to their local water ecosystems, with a hope that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will provide an opportunity for foster children to have fun, build confidence, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.
