CoachArt’s mission is to bring joy and possibility to every child impacted by serious illness. Children living with serious illnesses may feel isolated because of their conditions. Frequent hospital visits and deficient immune systems often cause them to miss time in school and recreational activities. Families, overwhelmed by the cost and demands of ongoing medical care, often lack the resources to seek out or afford extracurricular activities. Healthy siblings are affected too when family resources are focused on a seriously ill child. CoachArt supports these families by offering free recreational lessons that bring a sense of normalcy back into their lives. Since 2001, CoachArt has connected kids with serious illnesses and their siblings with caring mentors for free adaptive arts, athletics, and STEM lessons. Our vision is a world where every child impacted by serious illness can create, connect, and thrive.

The Hip-Hop Summit Youth Council uses hip‑hop culture and community partnerships to empower young people socially, politically, and economically. They run youth summits, education and prevention projects, and outreach programs aimed at reducing violence and improving life‑skills and opportunities for youth in Queens and beyond.

Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. From ages five through young adulthood in communities across the country, we develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

THE CENTER FOR GRIEVING CHILDREN PROVIDES A SAFE SPACE, LOVING PEER SUPPORT, OUTREACH, AND EDUCATION TO GRIEVING CHILDREN, TEENS, FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY. OFFERING OUR SERVICES AT NO CHARGE, FOR AS LONG AS PEOPLE NEED THEM, OUR SERVICES ENCOURAGE THE SAFE EXPRESSION OF GRIEF AND LOSS AND FOSTER EACH INDIVIDUAL'S RESILIENCE AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING. WE NOW OPERATE TWO LOCATIONS IN PORTLAND AND SANFORD.

Friends of Amani US is committed to supporting Amani Children’s Home in Tanzania,East Africa and their mission to reduce the number of children living on the streets by providing a nurturing place for homeless children to heal, grow and learn, as well as making every attempt at reuniting them with relatives when possible and helping those reunified families to be successful.

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy. Our programming – delivered to 156,000 girls in partnership with schools and at our centers – across 83 affiliates in over 330 cities and 1,400 sites focuses on the development of the whole girl. A combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a safe pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to lead healthy and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models in their communities.
