Old Skool Café is a faith based violence prevention program providing jobs and training to at-risk youth ages 16-22 at a 1940s-style supper club. We address the epidemic of violence and recidivism by providing at-risk, previously incarcerated, and foster care youth with a variety of career opportunities that would normally not be afforded them. Our vision is to establish a youth-run restaurant that will employ youth in every area of the business, developing real skills that are transferable in the marketplace.
Amigos in 2011 commemorates 20 years of continued service to the South Florida community. Throughout its history, Amigos has come to the aid of South Florida's most valuable resource - its children. Ultimately, Amigos For Kids hopes to increase awareness about child abuse, and strengthen the community by helping to educate families and prevent the painful cycle of child abuse and neglect. Amigos For Kids Blue Ribbon Campaign - coordinates activities throughout April's National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Since April 2004, Amigos has spearheaded efforts in cooperation with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rebeca Sosa, the Mayors of the City of Miami, Coral Gables, and Miami-Dade County, and other local community leaders and organizations to provide an informative series of events. Its purpose is to create awareness, through education and community involvement, and promote positive parenting as relates to the issues of child abuse. The organizaton's goal and vision is to promote its There's NO excuse for child abuse! campaign nationally in 2012.

Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) has the highest rate of HIV infection in the world. A generation of children is being left without parents; a generation of grandparents are being left to raise them without resources. Young Heroes initiatives have supported over 15,000 orphans and vulnerable children. We empower Eswatini's most vulnerable youth and their caretakers so they may achieve their fullest potential through: life-support grants; vocational training; healthcare: HIV education, prevention, and care programs; educational support; and gender and economic empowerment programs.
Brown Girls Code is a global nonprofit organization working to close the gender and diversity gap in technology. Our programs equip underrepresented girls in Grades 2 - 12 with the skills and training needed to pursue 21st Century opportunities in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity and other STEAM-related fields. Our goal is to increase their knowledge and enthusiasm for the fields while building confidence, technical acumen and sisterhood. Programming includes workshops on coding, cybersecurity, robotics engineering, digital citizenship, cyberbullying prevention as well as the development of entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
The mission of Joyful Mind Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to increase the well-being of youth, families, and school communities through the practice of secular mindfulness. With a whole-child perspective, Joyful Mind Project offers mindfulness education to schools and families in Sonoma County and the surrounding area. For over 10 years, the Miracle League Association has made it possible for children all over the country with physical and mental disabilities to achieve the same dream as their healthy peers - to play ball. The field is complete with a cushioned synthetic turf to help prevent injuries, wheelchair accessible dugouts, and a completely flat surface to eliminate any barriers to the wheelchair bound or visually impaired players.
