Oncology And Kids (OAK) runs free, year-round quality-of-life and peer-support programs for children affected by cancer — including patients, siblings, and families. Their services center on medically supervised camps (Camp Reach for the Sky), teen retreats, grief support, and wraparound activities designed to help children cope emotionally, build resilience, and restore a sense of normalcy.
First Tee – Greater Richmond uses the game of golf as a platform to help young people (roughly ages 5–18) build character, life skills, and leadership through coached programs, school partnerships, and community initiatives so participants are better prepared for challenges on and off the course.

Founded in 1949, ABGC provides high-impact, affordable youth development programs and services for youth ages 6-18 in Alameda, CA. Since our inception, we have changed the lives of more than 75,000 children. We are the only youth development organization in Alameda open to youth from all schools and backgrounds, every day and evening after school and during school vacations. We specifically target low-income and at-risk youth to provide them with the opportunities their more privileged peers receive and to prepare them for a great future.
Educating Playfully supports children's programs that foster social emotional learning through a variety of engaging and playful activities such as theatre, sports, music, and more. Our goal is to help children develop crucial life skills, enabling them to handle social situations maturely, express emotions effectively, and build strong, healthy relationships.
