COPAA's mission is to be a national voice for special education rights and to promote excellence in advocacy. Our primary goal is to secure high quality educational services for children with disabilities. COPAA is premised on the belief that the key to effective educational programs for children with disabilities is collaboration -as equals- by parents and educators. This is the premise of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, the federal statutes that guarantee children with disabilities a free, appropriate public education.

SFY provides police offices with training that integrates instruction in adolescent brain development and best practices for effectively de-escalating interactions with cutting edge research, develops leadership for adopting trauma-informed policing practices within law enforcement agencies, and educates vulnerable youth about their rights and how to respond appropriately to police.
CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2000 in response to the need to improve the representation of abused and neglected children living in the two counties. The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program recruits, screens, trains and supervises community volunteers who are independent lay advocates and appointed by judges to advocate for child abuse victims, birth to age 21, who were physically or sexually abused, who witnessed domestic violence, or who were severely neglected by their parents or guardians and are involved in the court system. CASA volunteers bridge the gap between the limits of the court and human services and the youth they all faithfully serve.
Exodus Farms Ministry brings the hope and healing of Jesus Christ to children of all ages through a horsemanship program in a safe and accepting farm environment that gives value and purpose to both the horse and human who have been broken, abused, neglected and/or discarded. Our goal is to bring real, lasting improvement to the lives of children and families in the Shasta and Tehama County areas of Northern California through a horse-centered program that teaches unconditional love, acceptance, boundaries, and practical life skills. Through their work with our rescued and repurposed horses, children of all ages learn responsibility, patience, the ability to care for another creature, and the truth that no one is permanently broken - we can all find new purpose, hope, and healing in life.
