New Yorkers for Children (NYFC) improves the well-being of youth and families in the child welfare system with an emphasis on older youth aging out of the system. NYFC provides direct educational, financial and emotional support and develops programs to fill gaps in the system in partnership with foster care agencies, community organizations, and the NYC Administration for Children’s Services.

For Love of Children is a 501(c)(3), community-based nonprofit organization that has been working with young people and their families in Washington, D.C. since 1965. FLOC’s mission is to provide educational services beyond the classroom to help DC students succeed from first grade through college and career. FLOC leverages a network of professional staff, trained volunteers, engaged families, and active community partners to teach, empower, and transform students’ lives. Almost 600 students access FLOC’s after-school, weekend and summer programs at public schools across DC, in FLOC’s headquarters in Ward 1, and at FLOC’s Outdoor Education Center in West Virginia.

Rainbows for All Children supports all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss, whether from death, divorce, deployment, or other trauma. Rainbows for All Children fosters awareness that youth require support to heal. We nurture a community of effective Rainbows-trained Facilitators, supported with a repository of resources designed to guide youth in their grieving process.

Empowering Children and Families was born out of experience working with children and families whose needs weren’t being met. A dedicated and compassionate group of people decided to join forces and build an organization to help kids and families. It was and is the right thing to do. Our mission is to help children and families construct and sustain a healthy foundation for the future. We do this by taking the time to establish trust and build a collaborative relationship. Many parents are too afraid to ask for help and if they do, they cycle through program after program with little to no progress. ECF makes a difference with families by providing a comprehensive “roadmap” unique to each family’s strengths and challenges that is culturally responsive.

Friends of the Children is a national nonprofit with the mission of impacting generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors – 12+ years, no matter what.

That means that we use a team approach to help our kids succeed, overcome challenges, and achieve their dreams and goals. Ocean Partnership for Children is THE NJ Children's System of Care designated care management organization (CMO) in Ocean County, NJ. We help over 1,000 youth every day, keeping them at home, in school and in the community where they can thrive. We use an innovative and successful approach that focuses on the youth's strengths, instead of their struggles. Our wraparound approach means we wrap services (in-home counseling, behavioral support, and other supports) around that youth and family. Because of our dedicated care coordination, over 90% of our youth are successful in their community!

The mission of the Homes for Children Corporation is to help troubled female youth who are abused, neglected, or runaways become independent, productive adults and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for adolescent girls by providing a group home experience, building life skills and helping young people and their families find solutions to the difficulties they face.
