The mission of the Tiyya Foundation (Tiyya) is to provide economic and educational opportunities for families of refugees, immigrants, and indigenous communities. Through our work, we create a community that fosters the development of self-sufficiency, ultimately helping our program participants overcome obstacles and actively participate in society.

The mission of A Bike for Every Child is to have our community come together to have every child experience the joy, confidence, and well being of owning and riding a bike. We believe in turning dusty bikes into shiny smiles and supporting our youth to ride into a happier, healthier futures!

The Village Method is a holistic approach to enhance the individual, interpersonal, and community relationships between culture, education, and inclusion of families of African ancestry. Our mission is to build capacity for social change and advancement in Black communities combining family, school, and community engagement to promote child development and improve student achievement. We do this using a multi-pronged approach combining youth development, family engagement and community outreach.

Kids in Focus is dedicated to empowering at-risk youth to strengthen their sense of self-worth. Through the restorative power of photography, the kids are inspired to open their eyes to their own potential and to a world of new possibilities.

Their Mission: We inspire hope in women who were sexually abused as children or adolescents by providing healing services through retreats, survivor communities, and online resources. We empower parents and caregivers to protect children from sexual abuse through education and online resources. We make it safe to openly discuss sexual abuse through community dialogue and social awareness.

The mission of Smart Fit Girls is to support and conduct non-partisan research of adolescent girls. We do this by introducing girls to resistance training and having them participate in activities aimed at improving self-esteem and body image.

The mission of Orlando/Orange County COMPACT is to function as an education and business partnership assisting underachieving, disadvantaged or challenged students, encouraging them to stay in school and reach their maximum potential. Our vision is that all COMPACT students become responsible, contributing members of society. COMPACT is first and foremost a dropout prevention program that stresses the reinforcement of core subjects, service learning, goal setting, study skills, career exploration, social responsibility and civic awareness. The program strives to select students who fit one or more of the following characteristics: overage for the grade level, low grades and/or test scores, poor attendance, irresponsible behavior, low self esteem and those with personal and/or family problems. These characteristics affect students at all levels of schooling, elementary, middle and high school. COMPACT also attracts students who may be the first in their family to graduate high school and/or the first to seriously consider college as an option post high school.

Our mission: To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home God’s neglected or abused equine through programs of shelter, adoption, education, and assistance. Horse Haven of Tennessee, Inc. was formed in 1999. Since then, more than 1,000 horses have been cared for by the only nonprofit equine rescue serving the entire state of Tennessee. The organization assists law enforcement officials by transporting and caring for horses that are seized during criminal abuse and neglect cases. The horses are then cared for while the cases are litigated in court.
