Healing the Children provides critical medical care to children all around the world. We envision a world where every child has access to medical care, regardless of ability to pay, insurance status, or physical location.

Our central objective is to transform the region's economy through climate-smart investment. CCSA identifies and unites commitments to build a more sustainable and resilient future for the Caribbean through collaboration between governments, regional and international institutions, and public and private sector organizations. We are focused on knowledge-sharing, accelerating existing projects and catalyzing innovative partnerships between countries and organizations. CCSA has four core focus areas of work. These areas guide the organization's project selection, are aimed at accelerating regional transformation and creating a global blueprint for climate action. Climate-Smart Map - developing a roadmap detailing the key milestones with costs, implications and timelines for moving at pace to our desired state. 90% Renewable Energy for All - creating a path to generate 90% of electricity from renewable resources and electrify the transport sector by 2035 Protecting 30% of our Land and Ocean by 2030 - develop a strong governing framework and secure required investment to protect 30% of Caribbean land and ocean by 2030, including a focus on climate-smart agriculture and the blue economy 1.5% New Green Jobs - strengthening the region's economic resilience against exogenous shocks by building climate action as an economic industry.

The primary mission (as it currently exists) of Abba's House Children's Center, a non-profit center, Cien Fuegos, Dominican Republic is to provide medical, nutritional, educational, social, emotional, psychological, and Christ-Centered spiritual care for orphaned, abandoned, or otherwise needy children living in extreme poverty in Cien Fuegos, Dominican Republic. We are committed to providing a safe environment to enhance each child's wellbeing. Prior to the opening of this Center, these children would: Scavenge for items in the city dump that they might be able to sell to help their families or for food that is consumable; Wander the streets with no shoes and sometimes with no clothing; Become victims of sexual or work exploitation; Suffer early pregnancies; Suffer from malnutrition, vitamin deficiencies and diseases; Have no access to vaccinations and even the most basic health care; Drink unclean, water; Join gangs for familial connections and then engage in criminal activity. Our further hopes are to (1) provide free healthcare for Cien Fuegos residents who currently have no access to medical services (2) provide jobs to area residents in our educational, medical, and vocational sub-centers (3) empower underserved and vulnerable individuals via jobs and training via economic viability and self-sufficiency (4) improve the quality of life of children and adult residents while fostering a sense of responsibility for the local community ***NOTE: The primary purpose of this GlobalGiving Initiative is to create a FREE medical clinic for the citizens of Cien Fuegos and to provide a Vocational Education Program at the Center where the older children can learn trades. Neither of these initiatives will be associated with religious training or indoctrination of any kind. These services will be objective, non-religious services.

At Fundacion Entrepreneur, we work every day to "be the social actor that leads Learning by Playing in Latin America". "We seek to develop the competencies in our children and young people, that will become the best version of themselves and develop in the 21st century" Eight years ago there were three troublesome problems that were in our heads: What would happen if all people learned to undertake and be an entrepreneur?, What would happen if we were all financially literate, balancing our well-being and money?, What if we had fewer social myths and a mayor sense of citizenship and belonging? Common problems, which are in everyone's life, but which are not all carrying burden. Thus, in 2012, the chilean company Momento Cero (Mo.0), who has spent 15 years making learning and innovating always entertaining, through the creation of various tools to carry out the Learning by Playing methodology, saw the need to generate social impact initiatives, thus giving rise to our Entrepreneur Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization. We felt in love with the challenges linked to this specific problems, because we believe they are the individual mobilizing motors of freedom and necessary to create, finance and implement dreams and projects that are a contribution to the common good. How do we put this into practice? We develop, implement and evaluate school programs that promote the use of educational board games in the classroom, focusing on students between 12 and 18 years old. We address relevant topics for current challenges: entrepreneurial talent, financial literacy, social sense and citizenship. Along with this, we co-developed the book "Playful mindset: to create, educate, undertake and innovate", where we share our know-how. Why Learn by Playing? Because if there are emotions, there is learning. And if that learning has an educational intention to provide tools to our young people, even better! We know that the Learning by Playing methodology generates emotions, fosters self-confidence, develops divergent thinking and reduces stress, which increases learning, thus developing in children and young people the skills that will allow them to become the best version of themselves in this century. We know that our challenge is not easy and we have a long way to go, but we are committed to enhancing the talent of each person, contributing to the formation of integral human beings, according to the challenges of the 21st century.

Zahana in Madagascar is dedicated to participatory rural development, education, revitalization of traditional Malagasy medicine, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture.
