Bioteka' s mission is to effectively connect science and society. As of 2010, when our civil society organization has been formed, we are dedicated to educating and raising public awareness on the importance of scientific discoveries and results, STEM, nature/environmental protection, sustainable development, public health, and related areas. We specialize in bringing scientific language, methods, and facts to the wider public. Our work includes educational (workshops, educational camps etc.), popular science (content creation, article writing, public outreach), volunteering and research activities, as well as initiatives for raising the public's awareness of topics in the field of natural sciences, nature and environmental protection, climate change and sustainable development. Bioteka continually promotes critical thought, science, modern teaching methods, active citizenship, sustainable development, and implementation of nature-based solutions. We cooperate with scientists, educational institutions, the private sector, and the public and have so far successfully carried out more than 75 projects of local, national, and international character and importance.

We are shaping a movement to ensure young people affected by displacement thrive through safe sport Sport has the power to have the most incredible impact on young lives. We are uniting leaders, businesses, coaches and young refugees from across the world to create a team with purpose, a team like no other. We all share one goal - for displaced young people to find belonging through sport, and shape their own futures, their way. Having been through the unimaginable hardship of displacement, on this team they will find somewhere to feel at home again. Somewhere they can develop the skills to succeed in life and truly thrive. Sport can be the springboard for a future that didn't seem possible. Helping young people find their place in the world, find success in their dream career. Or even finding themselves at the Olympic Games. Together we can help them discover a future full of opportunity, fuelled by the Olympic spirit. Our work It is easy to take the feeling of home for granted. That sense of being safe, welcome and respected. For young people uprooted by conflict, persecution or disaster, sport can offer a safe haven. Sport can develop stronger ties in communities, provide opportunities to learn new skills, build networks and improve health. We want to ensure 1 million young people access safe sport by 2024. To do this we're focused on making an impact in three areas: Access - making sure more young people affected by displacement can access and benefit from safe sport, for instance, through our programmes of sport- and play-based activities and upskilling coaches and through the Refugee Olympic Team. Adoption - ensuring that the role of safe sport in supporting young refugees is widely understood and used, for instance, encouraging national governments to include safe sport in their refugee response frameworks. Collective action - mobilising multiple partnerships to create sustained change, and improving the way sport is used to support young people affected by displacement. Together we can achieve more.

Broaden the horizons and spark interest in science of underserved children through science outreach educational programmes

IGLYO - The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth & Student Organisation is the world's largest LGBTQI youth and student network, counting more than 100 Member Organisations in over 40 countries across the Council of Europe Region. IGLYO's mission is to strengthen the rights of LGBTQI youth, fight for equality and inclusion, and empower LGBTQI youth voices. IGLYO represents the diverse rights and intersectional needs of LGBTQI young people and works hard to ensure that their futures are bright. We achieve our objectives through international training and events, targeted capacity building programmes, intercultural exchanges and peer learning, thematic research and advocacy actions, online tools and resources, digital story-telling and campaigning, networking activities, and more. Since our establishment in 1984, IGLYO has been growing steadily with new Members joining every year. Our Members are organisations who represent and/or support LGBTQI youth and/or students, work with LGBTQI youth or issues, comprise mainly of LGBTQI youth, or have a specific department working for/with youth.

Established in 1980, SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) has been delivering frontline humanitarian aid for 40 years. Operating in many of the mostdifficult to access, complex, and hostile environments in the world, SI responds to humanitarian crises as a result of conflicts, violence, natural hazards, infectious disease outbreaks, and poverty. SI strives to save lives and change lives, responding to emergencies, strengthening resilience to risks and threats, and creating opportunities to pursue their life prospects, by delivering evidence-based dynamic programmes that provide relevant, effective, efficient and timely humanitarian assistance to vulnerable and marginalised people, and people who have been severely affected by crises. We work in 23 countries across the globe providing access to safe water, sanitation services and facilities, hygiene and shelter assistance, and food security, livelihoods, protection, and cash-based support for over 4.6 million people.

Women Win's vision is that of a world in which every adolescent girl and young woman fully exercises her rights. Our mission is to advance the playing field that empowers girls through sport and play. Women Win is the global leader in girls and women's empowerment through sport. We leverage the power of play to help adolescent girls and young women build leadership skills and become better equipped to exercise their rights. Since 2007, we have impacted the lives of 2,822,400 adolescent girls and young women directly and indirectly in over 100 countries. This is possible thanks to collaborations with a wide variety of grassroots women's organisations, companies, development organisations, sports bodies and government agencies. Women Win currently supports initiatives in Asia, Africa, Middle East, North and South America. Our work is focused on empowering girls and young women through sport, emphasising the prevention of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and economic empowerment. In practice this involves developing high quality specialised tools and curricula; delivering training and capacity building workshops; monitoring and evaluation tools and systems development; and providing strategic and programmatic support. Women Win invests in and manages a diverse portfolio of global partners with approximately 1.5 million euros of direct funding granted annually.

Our programmes are designed according to a public health approach based on human rights and gender equality.We work alongside our institutional and community partners, rather than replacing them, to strengthen the capacities of health system actors while developing democracy in health. Because everyone has the right to good healthcare, we are working together to build more effective and virtuous health systems and empower people to take control of their health.

Points cles du programme ASI au Congo et au Gabon ASI travaille depuis 40 ans en Afrique : Burkina- Faso, ex Zaire devenu la RDC, Cameroun. Les nombreux projets menes dans ces pays sont devenus autonomes et leurs activites continuent a travers des equipes a 100% locales qui ont pris le relais d'ASI. ASI a cependant conserve le management direct du programme le plus important. Celui-ci, initie en 2007 a Brazzaville au Congo, puis a Pointe-Noire (2012), et tout recemment ouvert a Libreville au Gabon, vise a former et reinserer socialement et professionnellement les jeunes filles mineures en situation de prostitution de survie en rue. Appuye par des subventions institutionnelles (ONU, AFD, Mairie de Paris) ainsi que par des subventions privees (Fondation SODEXO, Groupe Air France, TotalEnergies, Groupe Perenco ), ASI a pu developper ses programmes dans la duree (Annexe 1). Le management de ce programme complexe est assure par les 12 membres du CA d'ASI, aux profils varies et bases en France et aux USA (Annexe 2), definissant et deployant une Gouvernance stricte (Annexe 3). Les membres du CA sont strictement benevoles et assument leurs eventuels frais induits (visites au Congo, repas et deplacements lors d'un CA). La totalite des fonds recueillis aupres de nos partenaires sont ainsi dedies a nos beneficiaires et aux personnels locaux des 5 centres, actuellement 70 personnes. Le pilotage courant est assure par un Bureau de 4 personnes, qui anime au quotidien le DG local du programme et son Adjointe chargee principalement de la RH et des Partenariats. ASI travaille avec nombre d'autres ONG (agissant dans d'autres registres) mais aussi des entites etatiques ou locales (Mairies, Service de sante et de l'Action Sociale, prefecture, police, congregations). Ce processus en reseau apporte des synergies economiques mais aussi humaines, ferments d'une reussite collective. ~20% des beneficiaires sont d'ailleurs signalees par d'autres acteurs que nos propres equipes de maraude . ASI est l'unique entite (ONG ou etatique) assurant une telle mission dans les deux pays. Au fil des annees, ASI a su organiser et piloter un reseau de prise en charge de ces jeunes filles via un processus innovant de maraudes pour les identifier. ~80% choisissent de rejoindre le programme des que nous sommes (financierement) en mesure de le leur proposer. Un projet personnalise est ensuite construit, sur une base individuelle, volontaire et formalisee par un Contrat , typiquement de 3 ans, a l'issue duquel la beneficiaire est en position de gagner sa vie dignement. Dans une premiere etape, la reponse aux besoins essentiels en termes de nourriture, sante et contraception, de soutien aux enfants de ces beneficiaires (plus d'une sur deux sont mamans), parfois de remise a niveau scolaire de base (lire, ecrire, compter) est apportee. Un programme complet de reinsertion personnelle puis de formation professionnalisante est ensuite defini avec chaque beneficiaire. Les principales etapes a suivre et les engagements personnels pris sur une base volontaire par la beneficiaire sont materialises via un Contrat signe avec ASI, de facon a la responsabiliser pleinement, et pouvoir piloter avec elle tout ecart eventuel de facon formelle, objective et transparente. Les formations et projets d'insertion sont adaptes aux realites du Congo et du Gabon. Initialement classiques (couture, cuisine, coiffure), elles sont regulierement enrichies, tels les metiers de mecanicienne, technicienne de climatisation ou encore soudeuse. Plus recemment, une formation de base en bureautique et anglais a ete introduite, offrant aux beneficiaires un nouveau debouche professionnel potentiel, les entreprises trouvant difficilement des profils adequats pour ces postes. Enfin, un projet de creation d'une ferme productrice d'epices, produits a forte valeur ajoutee et exportables, est en cours de lancement a Dolisie. Le processus ASI a ete regulierement optimise et adapte aux realites du terrain au cours des annees. Une description detaillee est disponible. L'activite d'ASI a ete en progression constante. De 10-15 reinsertions de beneficiaires par an dans les premieres annees, les resultats du programme ont regulierement cru jusqu'a atteindre 52 sorties reussies en 2024 des centres de Brazzaville et Pointe-Noire. Depuis son demarrage en 2007, ASI a accueilli ~3700 beneficiaires, qui se sont reinserees et gagnent desormais leur vie dignement. Les resultats sont probants avec ~85 % d'insertion reussie avec un travail stable et correctement remunere. S'y ajoutent ~10% de beneficiaires reinserees socialement mais sans avoir trouve ou pris un travail. En 2024, les centres ASI ont accueilli en moyenne quotidienne 190 beneficiaires et 84 jeunes enfants dans les creches. En outre, plus de 794 autres jeunes filles ont ete aidees ou secourues en rue, hors centres (protection contre de la violence, repas, soins et conseils medicaux). Par ailleurs, pour mieux repondre aux besoins identifies par ASI lors des maraudes, trois nouveaux centres ont ete ouverts courant 2024 dans les villes de Dolisie et NKayi au CONGO, ainsi qu'a Libreville au GABON

Les Puits du Desert was born from a life-changing experience. During a humanitarian raid in northern Niger, our founder, Christel Pernet, was forced to make an emergency landing in the desert. For four days, she lived alongside local nomadic families, sharing their daily life. She discovered what it truly means to live without access to water: children walking sometimes more than 20 kilometers every day to fetch it, schools that were rare and difficult to access, and women exhausted by the burden of survival. This human shock convinced her that urgent action was needed. In 2004, she founded Les Puits du Desert, in partnership with the Nigerien NGO Tidene, to respond to the essential needs expressed by the communities themselves: access to clean water, education, health, and women's empowerment. Since then, our association has been working in the Agadez region with an approach rooted in proximity, listening, and co-construction with local populations. The mission of Les Puits du Desert is to sustainably improve the living conditions of nomadic and rural populations in northern Niger, particularly in the Agadez region. These communities, mostly Tuareg, face some of the harshest living conditions in the world: - No clean water: women and children often walk hours under extreme heat to fetch unsafe water. - Food insecurity: desertification and climate change make traditional livelihoods increasingly fragile. - Limited access to health: villages are often days away from the nearest clinic. - Barriers to education: nomadic children, and especially girls, are rarely able to attend school. - Economic marginalization: women have few opportunities to earn an income or gain autonomy. We believe that water is the first step toward development. It is the foundation for health, education, food security, and economic empowerment. But beyond water, our mission is to accompany communities toward long-term resilience and dignity. Since 2004, Les Puits du Desert has worked in close and continuous partnership with Tidene, a Nigerien NGO founded the same year by leaders from the Agadez region. This partnership, in place since the very beginning, is one of the pillars of our credibility and effectiveness in the field. Tidene brings local legitimacy, field expertise, cultural understanding, and the capacity to mobilize communities even in the most remote areas. Les Puits du Desert ensures fundraising, technical and administrative support, and accountability to international partners and donors. Together, we form a strong binational alliance that combines local knowledge and international solidarity. Every project begins with listening carefully to the communities. Tidene's teams organize meetings with village chiefs, elders, women, and youth to identify priorities. Whether it is a well, a school, or a health center, the decision always comes from the people themselves. During implementation, communities are actively involved: - Villagers contribute to site preparation, transport of materials, and support to technicians. - Women are trained in gardening, food processing, and small equipment maintenance. - Local management committees are created to ensure long-term operation of wells, schools, or gardens. This participatory approach guarantees ownership and sustainability: when people help build an infrastructure, they also take responsibility for protecting it. Beyond infrastructures, we invest in training and empowerment so that projects endure: - Training water committees in maintenance and spare parts management. - Supporting teachers and parent associations to strengthen education. - Equipping health workers with skills and tools to improve healthcare. - Helping women's cooperatives develop business strategies and improve production techniques. Each project thus becomes more than a structure: it is a lever of resilience and autonomy for entire communities. Thanks to Tidene, we ensure that all our projects are adapted to the local context and respect cultural traditions: - Schools include boarding facilities so nomadic children can study. - Wells are strategically placed along pastoral transhumance routes. - Women's income-generating activities are designed to fit daily responsibilities while fostering empowerment. All decisions are taken jointly by Les Puits du Desert and Tidene. Projects are co-written, budgets reviewed together, and monitoring carried out both locally and internationally. This dual governance guarantees transparency for donors and coherence with the realities on the ground. We are convinced that sustainable development cannot be imported from outside; it must emerge from within communities themselves. In twenty years of action: - 345 wells and boreholes built, providing tens of thousands of people with clean water. - 13 schools constructed, offering an educational future to hundreds of children. - Health infrastructures established, improving access to care for isolated populations. -16+ women's cooperatives created, reinforcing women's role in the local economy and society. Our work is made possible thanks to the support of numerous individual donors, companies, foundations, and institutions in France and internationally. We maintain trusted relationships with our partners, based on financial transparency, regular reporting, and rigorous monitoring of impact. These partnerships are essential to transform ideas into lasting achievements. Our vision is simple yet ambitious: - To ensure that no family lives without safe water. - To enable every child, especially girls, to go to school and dream of a better future. - To give women the means to earn a living and be recognized as full actors in their communities. -To build resilient and autonomous communities capable of facing the challenges of climate change, poverty, and isolation.
