Sanabel Nour Association

Sanabel Nour was established in Tripoli, Lebanon in 1995. Since then we were dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities in our city. We believe that every person has the right to a dignified and fulfilling life, and it is our mission to work towards a world where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. To that end, we support initiatives that promote livelihoods, education, and health, with a particular focus on orphans and other vulnerable groups. We are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all of our programs and operations, and to collaborating with local partners and communities to ensure that our efforts are sustainable and have a lasting impact. Initiative One: Livelihoods and Self-sufficiency: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities in Tripoli. Our mission is to provide essential goods and services to those in need. We believe that everyone has the right to a basic standard of living, and by collecting and distributing in-kind donations, we aim to improve the lives of individuals and communities suffering from poverty, conflict, or natural disasters. We strive to be a responsible and efficient steward of our resources, and to use every donation to its maximum potential in order to make a real and lasting impact on the world. Initiative Two: Education: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to advancing education and decreasing school drop outs. Our mission is to promote and provide access to quality education for all, with a focus on orphans and disadvantaged communities. We believe that education is a fundamental human right and a powerful tool for addressing poverty, inequality, and social injustice. We work to improve educational outcomes and opportunities for children, youth, and adults, through a range of initiatives including teacher training, support for learning infrastructure and afternoon tutoring centers/ programs. Sanabel also provides registration fees for students at public schools and universities. We envision a world where every person has the opportunity to realize their full potential through education. Initiative Three: Health and Medical Care: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of underserved communities in the city. Our mission is to provide access to quality medical care - including preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services, by providing financial support for these areas - as well as to address the underlying social and economic determinants of health through our researchers' team. Initiative Four: Palliative Care for Cancer Patients: Sanabel Nour is dedicated to providing relief from the symptoms and stress at advanced stages of cancer. Our mission is to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families by providing access to comprehensive and compassionate medical care, as well as support services to address the physical, spiritual, emotional, and practical challenges of living with cancer. We strive to increase awareness and understanding of cancer, advocate for the rights and needs of cancer patients, and support research to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. We believe that no one should have to face cancer alone, and it is our commitment to be a source of hope, support, and strength for those affected by this disease.

War Child Holland

We believe no child should be part of war. Ever. Children have the right to grow up in peace, free from fear and violence. To develop their full potential and become the person they want to be. War Child is committed to improve life of hundreds of thousands children in conflicted areas. War Child helps them to process their intense experiences, dare to reconnect with other children again and build self-confidence. They ensure that they learn how to read, write, count and learn a trade. Besides that, they create a safe environment where children can build a stable and above all, peaceful future. War Child does this worldwide. From Colombia to Afghanistan. Not because they like it that much. But because children are entitled to it. That is why they offer psychosocial support, education and protection to refugee and vulnerable children in fourteen countries. Because every child is entitled to a place where they can play safely, learn and recover from all misery.
