The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. We are passionate about helping all young people achieve their full potential by delivering high quality physical education (PE) and sport opportunities. Through 20 years of experience, we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities. We believe in the power of sport to change young people's lives for the better. Our programmes focus on using sport as a vehicle to improve young people's: Wellbeing: Our work develops children's fundamental movement skills, equipping them with the confidence, competence and enjoyment of sport needed for a lifetime of activity, as well as good physical and emotional health. Leadership: Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities, such as: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. Achievement: PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.

To facilitate access to quality care and support to vulnerable households.

To end preventable deaths in the most underserved communities. To save pregnant women, mothers and newborns from deaths caused by poverty, lack of hygiene, access to proper healthcare or education in developing countries.

1. To endeavour to serve in greater measure the national burden of child ill health, Totally Free of Cost and to become institutions of Pediatric Cardiac Excellence for India and several developing countries 2.To develop skilled and compassionate medical, nursing and allied health care providers trained to collectively address the burden of congenital heart disease. 3. To advocate the Right to Healthy Childhood by bringing sharper focus in the area of child heart care, enabled by research and technology solutions that inform all stakeholders in the health care spectrum of preventive curative,educative care.

The relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing in Imo State, South Eastern Nigeria by the provision of free primary healthcare services in particular but not limited to medical consultations, eye checks, health education, advice and further referrals. The relief of poverty and financial hardship among people living in Imo state, South Eastern Nigeria by the provision of micro-finance loan funding to individuals in, or at risk of, poverty or financial need to enable them to establish their own businesses to provide for themselves and their families.

The Mukwege Foundation supports survivors' demands for a world where sexual violence as a weapon of war is no longer tolerated and bears consequences for individual perpetrators and states. We work for a future where survivors receive the holistic care and compensation they need to rebuild their lives. We create opportunities for survivors to speak out and be heard, and where they can organise to create change, influence policies, and demand justice and accountability.

Empowering young Africans through education, mental health support, and sustainable development initiatives.

The Centre for HIV/AIDS and STD Research (CHISTRE) is a transformative force in Nigeria's health landscape, dedicated to tackling pressing health challenges such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and emerging health crises like COVID-19. Established in 2000, CHISTRE has evolved from a humble resource center into a leading non-governmental organization, championing health equity and access for vulnerable populations in rural and underserved communities. Key Highlights: 1. Innovative Health Solutions: CHISTRE has trained over 400 health managers nationwide, empowering them with critical skills for effective health program management. Their initiatives have notably enhanced malaria control efforts across 13 state. 2. Comprehensive Community Engagement: The organization boasts a strong volunteer network of 150 individuals actively engaged in health outreach and education, ensuring that vital health information reaches even the most remote areas. 3. Strategic Partnerships: By collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies and private sector partners, CHISTRE effectively implements programs that yield measurable results in public health outcomes. 4. Research-Driven Initiatives: Through rigorous research, CHISTRE informs policy development and health interventions, such as the ACSM baseline research for malaria control, paving the way for evidence-based solutions. 5. Responsive to Crises: CHISTRE's commitment to health is evident in its proactive response to health crises, exemplified by its support in piloting PCR testing for COVID-19 in Taraba and Yobe State.
