Circle Of Hope Foundation

The Norwood Circle of Hope foundation was established in 1998 in memory of Michelle Kennedy a young Norwood resident who suffered with leukemia. During Michelle's battle the entire Norwood community, many of whom did not know Michelle, joined together t osupport her in her time of need and it is in that spirit that the Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation continues. The mission of the Foundation is to provide assistance to Norwood residents who are in need due to catastrophic medical occurrence. The Foundation board members represent the entire community with individuals from the town's emergency services, town government, the school system, medical, social services and business community. The Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization. All of our board members are volunteers. Our funds come from corporate, private and public donations as well as fundraiser that we hold during the year. Over the years, the Circle of Hope Foundation has assisted hundreds of Norwood residents with various expenses depending on their needs: rent, medical bills, utilities, house ramps, prescriptions and transportaion.
