The core belief behind HeadCount is that the live music community is a large, vibrant audience that has the potential to be politically influential if properly represented at the polls. HeadCount uses the assets of the music industry and the incredible influence artists have over their fans to mobilize this audience into action. Stretching beyond just registering voters, HeadCount also aims to become "the community organizing arm of the live music scene," giving every socially conscious music fan an avenue toward activism.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights was established by Robert F. Kennedy's friends and family in 1968 to carry on his vision of a more just and peaceful world. As a global organization with a unique connection to one of the 20th century's most inspiring leaders, we seek to create change by partnering with the women and men on the front lines of the struggle for human rights and social justice, from the courtroom, to the classroom, to the boardroom. By standing with the bravest people on Earth, we strive to fulfill Robert F. Kennedy's pledge that "those with the courage to enter the moral conflict will find themselves with companions in every corner of the world." Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights' mission is to safeguard human dignity through the advancement of human rights and to improve the uniquely American ideals of justice and peace. All of our programs leverage advocacy, training, litigation, and education efforts to empower key participants in the international movement for human rights; create lasting change in the legal and social structures that engender inequality; and educate tomorrow's leaders, thereby enhancing their capacity to advance justice and equality. Partners for Human Rights uses advocacy, litigation, and training to ensure that the rights of every human being receive the protection they deserve. Speak Truth To Power is a global initiative that uses the experiences of courageous defenders from around the world to educate students and others about human rights while urging them to take action. Young Leaders is a leadership program that motivates a diverse community of young professionals to take action for social justice and human rights. Compass facilitates discussions of sustainable investing criteria among institutional investors, enabling them to understand how social, environmental, governance, and human rights considerations can mitigate investment risk. Legacy introduces Robert F. Kennedy's remarkable life and career to a new generation through exhibits, classroom materials, and the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Book and Journalism Awards.

The American Theatre Wing advances the future of American theatre by celebrating excellence and nurturing the next generation: on stage, behind the scenes, and in the audience. We pursue this mission through programs that support theatrical excellence and inclusivity, and educate and engage the next generation of practitioners and audiences. For over 100 years, the Wing has been an integral part of the American theatrical community, providing critical support and recognition that has allowed the theatre to thrive.

In 2007, the Playing for Change Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. Our mission is to create positive change through music and arts education. 15 music programs have been created in Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Mali, Nepal, Rwanda, South Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Argentina and Thailand. More than 2,000 young people attend free classes in dance, instruments, languages and musical theory, all taught by qualified local teachers. Learning music has been shown to increase self-esteem and foster resilience, which is critically important to children who are vulnerable due to poverty, conflict, drugs, and neglect.

DESPICABLE ME, HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, WICKED… Ask any child to name their favorite movie and one of these titles might pop up. There’s nothing like seeing a child’s face light up as the previews end and the movie that he/she has been anticipating for weeks is finally about to begin in the movie theater! But what about the children who are battling life-threatening illnesses who are unable to visit a movie theater? LOLLIPOP makes it possible for hospitalized children around the nation to see the season’s biggest blockbuster movies at the same time as their friends and siblings. Our desire is to create a fun escape from the daily reality of the illnesses and medical treatments these children face. And in the process, LOLLIPOP hopes to deliver a “normal” experience for the entire family. We believe hope and laughter are the key ingredients in having the strength to fight and to cope with hospitalization. Most of these pediatric patients – ranging in age from 2-20 years – are normally deprived of the movie-going experience, as they are unable to leave the hospital for weeks or months on end, if ever. Since LOLLIPOP’s first screening in 2002, we have screened hundreds of films and now reach hospitalized children in over 18 states nationwide. We've even expanded our programming to include other entertainment mediums like TV movies, music & art lessons, magic shows, cooking shows and much more!

CURE ADDICTION NOW (CAN) IS DEDICATED TO THE UNDERSTANDING, TREATMENT AND ULTIMATE CURE OF DRUG ADDICTION. FUNDING BASIC RESEARCH AND ITS CLINICAL TRANSLATION THROUGH A COLLABORATIVE PROGRAM IS THE CORE FOCUS OF THE FOUNDATION. IN ADDITION TO CREATING NEW THERAPIES TO HELP STOP THE DEADLY CYCLE OF ADDICTION, WE HOPE TO ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE STIGMA OF THIS DISEASE AND ULTIMATELY FIND A CURE FOR THE BRAINS ADDICTION TO DRUGS.

Shania Kids Can US Ltd. is a registered, nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity and Shania Kids Can is a Canadian registered Charity (charitable registration number 80435 4652 RR0001) founded in 2010 by performer, Shania Twain, in effort to relieve the economic, social and personal sufferings of children that she herself experienced as a child. Shania Kids Can operates in elementary schools throughout North America delivering programs that aim to provide all-inclusive support and stability by qualified professionals in the form of one-on-one consultations as well as group activities and opportunities all while in the safe, confidence-building environment that is the Shania Kids Can Clubhouse.
