We provide medication to treat post-partum haemorrhage and conduct midwifery training to enhance the skills of midwives in order to improve care for both mother and baby. We have been supporting hospitals in Sub-Saharan Africa for 12yrs and have seen huge reductions in maternal mortality.

SJAA provides grants to the Josephites a Roman Catholic religious order who are our presence in DR Congo, Cameroon & Gabon. Examples of some of our projects: Girls Boarding Accommodation, sewing machines & workshop in Domiongo (DRC). Finding water and building 2 wells, solar panels in Cameroon.

We support community groups, diverse creatives & organisations (e.g. museums, galleries, schools, colleges, promoters and sponsors) in the city of Sheffield to develop and host events (e.g. Windrush / Black History Month). We also provide free educational resources and maintain a listing of events.
