Bridges for Women Society was established in Victoria, BC in 1988 and provides a unique employability training program for women with histories of abuse and violence. Women reach personal and financial independence through programming that is designed to assist women overcome barriers to employment related to abuse. Bridges provides women with education, training, and professional one-on-one support. This customized program assists women in becoming employable and helps them break the cycle of abuse.

The Well Women Centre support & empower all women. Offering guidance & education to enable women to take control & make positive Life choices. Counselling, Advocacy Support, Women's Group's, Freedom Programme for Domestic Violence along with other groups & courses around Mental Health & Wellbeing.

Our primary purpose is to increase public awareness of women’s achievements and their roles in history and to provide positive public images of women and girls. To fulfill these purposes, Wild West Women, Inc. will, with a particular emphasis on films concerning women’s issues, women’s history and women creators: produce educational films and accompanying educational materials; distribute educational films and videos to the general public; provide training in independent and educational film making, with special efforts to include women and girls of diverse cultures; and provide and sponsor other public educational film, video and arts activities. Founded in 1994.

WOMEN IN ANIMATION IS THE ONLY ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING WOMEN IN THE FIELD OF ANIMATION. WE ENVISION A WORLD WHERE WOMEN SHARE EQUALLY IN THE CREATION, PRODUCTION AND REWARDS OF ANIMATION, AND WE PROVIDE RESOURCES AND CONNECTIONS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

We believe there is a need for a free confidential helpline & webchat for women and girls, ages 13+ in the UK. Because women have specific needs and challenges.Staffed by women who will listen, provide non-judgemental support and guidance.

Foundation for Women Warriors exists to serve women veterans and their children so their next mission is clear and continues to impact the world.

Annually over 1,000 women are homeless in Ottawa - Cornerstone provides shelter for over 400 women, serves over 140,160 nutritious meals and provides supportive housing for 68 women, many of whom are seniors. In addition, in 2011 Cornerstone secured permanent housing for 154 women; 65 women were enrolled in computer training, employment preparation and life skills courses. Our services are offered in an environment which promtes dignity and hope.

Strong Girls United Women empowers women and girls in Sierra Leone.We work to fulfill the simple idea that all women and girls are valuable. All should live a life of their choosing, free from pain, physical threat, and fear.

WAST is a grassroots network of over 150 women seeking asylum, living in Greater Manchester. Together, we campaign for social justice and women's rights through a peer-led support model that helps women find their place in the UK.

Chicago Foundation for Women invests in women and girls as catalysts, building strong communities for all. CFW funds organizations working to solve the biggest problems facing women and girls: economic insecurity, violence, and access to health care and information. In addition to grantmaking, CFW invests in developing women leaders and advocates, and brings together diverse coalitions to collaborate, share resources and develop solutions.
