We are a local charity supporting the social needs of blind and partially sighted people. We offer a range of activities including: social centre, outings, holidays, computer training, shopping escorts, befrienders etc. These activities help to reduce isolation and help with independence.

CBM (Christian Blind Mission) works in 80 of the world's poorest countries to prevent disabilities and offer life changing services to children and adults with disabilities.  CBM is an advocate for some of society's most vulnerable people and focuses on four types of disability: blindness/visual, hearing, physical, and mental impairment.  CBM provides relief, services, and advocacy for millions of people each year living with disability in absolute poverty.  Projects include eye hospitals and medical facilities, rehabilitation and therapeutic services, education programs through integrated schools and vocational training programs.

We organise & manage blind/visually impaired cricket in the UK. Our sport is open to men & women of any age. Such provision is life changing for some of our participants as with unemployment amongst visually impaired people at 75% many visually impaired people can find themselves quite isolated.

Future In Sight advances the independence of people who are blind or visually impaired by providing a comprehensive, statewide range of vision rehabilitation services tailored to each client’s goals. Their programs include rehabilitation therapy, orientation & mobility, assistive-technology support, counseling and peer/enrichment activities, with services available regardless of ability to pay.

VISION: To enable all visually impaired children, adults, their families and caregivers to reach their optimal potential through providing early childhood development, independence development, wellness programmes; and to care for and protect the rights of those who, due to circumstances beyond their control, are unable to do so themselves. MISSION: To provide an all encompassing independence development and prevention of blindness service that ensures the successful integration of all visually impaired persons into society.

Founded in 2000 by Fr. Thuan and two friends based in San Francisco, CA, the Blind Vietnamese Children Foundation assisted The Lover of the Holy Cross Sisters who had just established Nhat Hong Thi Nghe Home for the Blind in Ho Chi Minh City (1995). Up to the present time with the Foundation’s support the Sisters expanded to nine homes and schools with a total of almost 400 students. The Foundation has also provided funding to maintain the homes, schools, and healthcare centers for visually impaired children administered by other lay or religious groups. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by hundreds of friends who give much of their time and wealth throughout the year to assist in BVCF fundraising efforts. Every year the Foundation organized the benefit luncheons or dinners with silent and live auctions, and raffles. A lively family atmosphere blends different cultures and faiths in a single effort to help our very special children live promising lives in Vietnam.

EFDB believes in the importance of living an engaged and fulfilled life. We believe that all persons have the basic right to equal information. Through information all people make informed decisions for their own lives and needs. EFDB is a non-profit, charity number 830137287RR0001. We organized to serve the needs of the Edmonton and area Blind Deaf people. With your support we are working to enable our members to reach beyond the barriers to live a full and engaged life.

Freedom Guide Dogs is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization based in Upstate New York, which breeds, trains and places guide dogs with the blind and visually impaired through a distinctive program called Hometown Training at no cost to the recipient. Freedom was founded in 1991 and is celebrating 25 years of service. Freedom Guide Dogs' services are available to people along the East Coast of the United States at no cost with special consideration given to veterans and people with additional disabilities beyond visual impairment. We place Labrador Retrievers, Smooth Coat Collies, Bouvier des Flanders as guide dogs. We find that offering several breeds allows us to better match the individual needs of each client, many of whom cannot be accommodated by other guide dog schools.

We help people living with sight loss and other disabilities to achieve their ambitions and go beyond expectations.We believe wherever they are, everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life. Our support enables people and their families to build skills and develop confidence.

SeeAbility provides ambitious social care for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss. We encourage them to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society - and they in turn challenge us all to think about what’s possible, and to rethink disability.

Living with sight loss can often be lonely and isolating. British Wireless helps to ease these feelings by providing the companionship of radio and a connection to the outside world.We supply specially adapted audio equipment on free loan to visually impaired people all across the UK.

Vision Support supports visually impaired people in the Harrogate district. We provide opportunities to meet other visually impaired people and offer IT training, advice and opportunities to socialise and develop craft skills. We also undertake home visits and run a telephone befriending service.
