The organization collects and distributes free classroom and student supplies to teachers who live or work in the Oshkosh / Winnebago County area so they can support students in need; it operates like a no-cost “store” where teachers pick up supplies, is run by volunteers, and is funded by community donations and partner funds.

Teachers on Wheels is a community-based adult literacy organization that matches trained volunteer tutors with adult learners who wish to improve their reading and writing skills. This program offers a good educational alternative to adults who prefer not to, or cannot, attend regularly scheduled lessons in a more formal setting. This service and related materials are available to the public free of charge. Confidentiality is assured.
