Since 1994, African Women's Group has been here. The plight of the African woman and our community over the years has been due to the challenges we face of No voice , No funds... The AWGS refuses to buckle in the face of these challenges and continue to make headway. In dialogue, in action we stand.

OPAL is an African LGBTI organisation that supports LGBTI asylum seekers and refugees in the UK through proving a safe space, peer support, therapeutic and social inclusion.

The South African Children’s Charitable Trust believes that every child, no matter what their background has the right to reach their potential and dream big. Current circumstances do not define who we become and it is vital to empower every child with this belief in themselves.

The African Middle Eastern Leadership Project: Our mission is to mobilize, empower, and unite millennial leaders and activists from the Middle East and Africa to build resilient, inclusive societies that are free from discrimination, persecution, and violent coercion, and to advocate for policies in support of these goals.

The North Carolina African Services Coalition is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to empowering refugees and immigrants of the Triad through direct social services and employment programs. It serves as a one stop information source for refugees and immigrant communities to be self-sufficient and independent.

ACLC was founded in 1975 by members of the Windrush Generation to serve the African Caribbean community in Haringey, North London. Through the Cultural Centre, ACLC provides culturally sensitive support in; social welfare, youth activities, women welfare, education, events, and cultural activities.

ACWDC is a community-driven charity dedicated to uplifting African and Caribbean women and their families. For over 44 years, we have provided a safe space, essential services, and vital resources, including education for kids, financial literacy, advocacy, support for our elderly men and women.

ACOMI operates a resource centre in downtown Winnipeg for the delivery of food and emergency supplies; literacy programs; employment training and mentoring; referral services; and counselling for the benefit of the community. Acomi also provides secondary and post-secondary scholarships and bursaries to qualified low-income students of African heritage for the advancement of education within the community.

The African Dream Initiative gives promising but disadvantaged children the resources to become Africa's future leaders. We provide access to quality education at top schools in Uganda, while providing psycho-social supports, leadership training, and other resources to help students build the skills they need to become leaders and give back to their communities.

The Seattle South African Scholarship Foundation helps students who have successfully graduated from their secondary education and have demonstrated excellence in their studies to continue their academic journeys. It serves students who have attended Hector Peterson School in the Wallacedene Township of Kraaifontein, Cape Town, South Africa. To reach students who are living in significant poverty, who would be otherwise unable to further their education, and who have demonstrated academic strength and leadership potential.

Infrastructure projects will be chosen from applications received from East African communities and monitored by a committee of volunteer CanAssist trustees. Communities will be invited to submit application for funding based on their needs and be responsible for regular reporting during and on completion of the adopted project. Our work supports all members of a community rather than focusing on individuals or programmes. ( i.e. We build classrooms rather than giving school fees for a selected child. We provide clinic equipment, not funds for salaries or programmes at a hospital.)

Seattle Limbe Sister City Association is a nonprofit citizen diplomacy network whose mission is to create and strengthen partnerships between Seattle and Limbe, Cameroon. Our ultimate goal is to increase global cooperation at the municipal level, promote cultural understanding and stimulate economic development.
