THE CANADIAN COUNCIL OF THE BLIND BC - YUKON DIVISION

The Canadian Council of the Blind BC-Yukon Division is an organization run by the Blind for the Blind, and celebrated its 60th anniversary in April 2007. Today, the Council's BC-Yukon Division offers a voice for over 15,000 blind and visually impaired individuals, young and old, throughout BC. It acts as a central coordinating body for communication and advocacy, and provides support and resources to its Chapters & members, other blind and visually impaired British Columbians, and the general public throughout the region. The BC Council's funding is derived solely through the past and present efforts of the Division. We are an independently BC & federally registered charity. Donations are welcome, needed, and appreciated, and can include gifts of property, stocks, bonds, life insurance, boats, and of course currency! Should you require them, tax deductible receipts can be issued for any of these donations. Funds made in BC, stay in BC! See contact info above.
