We are one of Scotland's key veterans charities, with the aim to provide former members of the armed forces with sight loss assistance and support to live indipendant and fulfilling lives. We currently operate two activities centers in Scotland as well as an extensive outreach service.
We deliver daily social activities and fun exercise groups for both mental/physical welfare and peer engagement.The Society recognises that the social activities offered are a vital lifeline to its Members, it offers them an opportunity to meet and engage with their contemporaries.
Riders for Charity is collaborating with us to raise funds for the schools we support. They are committed enthusiasts who love cycling and lend their support to established charities and causes. 2024 is the quasquicentennial (125th) year that Southampton Sight has been delivering services in Southampton and to mark this incredible achievement they are encouraging people, especially those living with sight loss, to take part in fundraising activities which put them out of their comfort zone
