Darfur Women Action Group

Darfur Women Action Group (DWAG) envisions a world where justice for all, equal rights and respect for human dignity is a common value. DWAG is a women-led anti-atrocities nonprofit organization with 501 (c) (3) status, founded in 2009 by a Darfuri genocide survivor and supported by dedicated American women, men and young people to advance its unique goals. DWAG works with victims and survivors of the genocide in Darfur, both in Sudan and in the Diaspora, providing them with access to tools that will enable them to lead the effort to combat violence, address massive human rights abuses in their societies, and work with others to prevent future atrocities while promoting global peace.

Washington Women in Need

Washington Women in Need's vision is to assist women throughout the state, who have high hopes but low incomes, to achieve their goals for higher education and better health. We provide grants for post-secondary tuition and related academic costs, and for wellness needs that are not met by current healthcare programs. Our newest education grant program, star scholars, extends tuition assistance for the full four years of an undergraduate degree.

Yakote Women Farmers mission is to provide assistance to the Nabdem district of the Upper East region of , West Africa. This assistance is primarily directed to supporting the women in developing self-sufficiency through improved farming techniques, improved sanitation and clean water, education, health care and small business starts and improved nutrition and school feeding programs. In addition, the association works to increase cultural exchanges and improved understanding between West Africa and the U.S.

Gathering For Women Monterey

Our mission is to provide homeless women on the Monterey Peninsula with supportive resources and a caring community. We provide the women with hot, nutritious meals, clean clothing, warm showers, comprehensive case management support, limited emergency assistance, education to promote their health and safety, access to free basic health care, and connection to other community service providers. These services are provided in a caring, supportive environment to support our guests' pathway out of homelessness.
