Women Make Movies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit media arts service organization established in 1972 to address the under representation and misrepresentation of women in the media industry. Since then, organizational growth and ground-breaking programs have made Women Make Movies the leading distributor of women’s films and videotapes worldwide.WMM carries out its unique mission through an internationally recognized Distribution Service and a Production Assistance Program that helps women film/video directors in all stages of production by offering educational and professional development assistance. We provide emerging artists with the tools that are essential for their artistic development, while giving accomplished women film and videomakers national and international exposure.

To empower, motivate, and inspire women to find the will to succeed and grow by creating the tools and resources they need, removing barriers, and creating connections so that women can become the ultimate versions of themselves.

Providing a Place of Escape for Sexually Exploited Women Refuge for Women is a 3-phase faith-based program that lasts 12 months. A safe place has been created for guests to experience healing with few distractions. The key aspects of the Refuge for Women program are sobriety, healing from trauma, rebuilding trust, and developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aid for Women serves thousands of women annually in the Chicagoland area who are facing unexpected pregnancies. Our life-affirming services are offered to clients free-of-charge and include: compassionate counseling, pregnancy tests, ultrasound exams, Earn While You Learn Program, pregnancy and parent support groups, residential programs as well as medical and community referrals. Founded in 2008, CWA annually provides over 1,000 women and children with life coaching and necessities, career development, and economic resources that are vital to wellness, recovery, and self-sufficiency.

Currently operating in Nagpur, Central India, WIN aims to benefit women worldwide, who are socially and economically disadvantaged. Leah and Usha help women suffering from the physical and social scars of Leprosy, as well as treating other problems such as HIV/AIDS, mental illness and the effects of rape and abuse.
