STEM for Her, formerly known as Women in Technology Education Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, based in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. area that promotes education to create awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and young women to pursue successful STEM-related careers.

STEM Santa Fe advocates for, develops and provides STEM programming, mentoring and resources for all youth, especially under-represented groups in STEM, to realize their potential and expand their opportunities in a dynamic world.

Our mission is to be the guiding light that develops, connects, concentrates and propagates STEM Education exponentially in Latin America. STEM is a global trend that promotes the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as pillars for sustainable development and social well-being, developing scientific and mathematical thinking with a focus on innovation. STEM recognizes that creativity and the development of socio-emotional skills are key to promoting an involved and globally responsible citizenship, that is why it encourages interaction with other disciplines such as the arts, business, philosophy or humanities: STEAM / STEAM + H / STEM + E, among others. STEM proposes learning based on problem solving and develops future skills with a social and inclusive vision. Movimiento STEM+ is the civil association that inspires and engages key actors to promote high-impact STEM Education initiatives in order to close gaps and solve the great challenges of humanity. It is the highest representative body of the Ecosistema STEM+ and an initiative endorsed by Global STEM Alliance and STEM Learning Ecosystems. We have impacted more than 9 million people in the region.

To educate, initiate, and innovate young minds for tomorrow’s social response toward education and research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics including the Arts statistics of underserved youth, girls, and women interest in STEM university campus studies to career learning opportunities.

TO PROVIDE A SAFE HAVEN FOR CHILDREN TO RECREATE WITHOUT THE USUAL WORRIES OF STRANGERS INFLUENCING CHILDREN.

We challenge unhelpful stereotypes, combat stigma around mental health and ultimately prevent suicide. We are a youth led organisation, enabling young people, particularly boys and young men, to talk about their emotions and express their vulnerability in a safe and healthy manner.

RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD SCHOOLS WITH BUILDON

The mission of Black Girls Code is to provide Black girls access to engaging computer programming education that sparks their interest in technology, unlocks their potential, and leads to more equitable communities. We primarily work with girls ages 7-17, and young women up to age 25 as part of our alumnae program. Through our virtual programs and school and community based programs, we serve approximately 5,000 girls annually. We serve additional young people through our Code Along series via Youtube. Since 2011, we have served more than 30,000 girls. Black Girls Code aspires to reach 1 million girls of color to code by 2040. For more information, visit our website at http://wearebgc.com/.
