OPPTA is the parent and teacher association for Orleans Primary School. Working with all parents, teachers and children of the school, we have a couple of simple ambitions: 1) to enhance the educational needs of our children and 2) to foster relationships within our school community.
Teachers Unify is a grassroots movement of educators that supports and trains teachers and school staff to share their experiences, advocate for policies, and push for safer schools and communities free from gun violence. Their work centers survivor voices and provides educator resources, public education, and advocacy to influence local, state, and federal gun-violence-prevention policy.
ORMTA is a not-for-profit provincial organization managed by a volunteer council and comprised of more than 1,300 Registered Music Teachers and related members across Ontario. ORMTA is affiliated with the national association, the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations (CFMTA). The aim of ORMTA is to encourage and provide the highest calibre of music education possible and to promote high standards of music in each community.
At William Patten Primary School we value children as individuals. In partnership with the Parents, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA) we help our children to understand their role as members of the school and of the wider community, and to see how they can contribute to a better society.
We are a charity made up of a dynamic team of parents and teachers who work together with the school community to raise money, helping to give our children the best opportunities. The funds we raise provide additional equipment and experiences that fall outside normal local authority funding.
Parents as Teachers (PAT) works with parents to provide them with support and information on their developing child and to foster stong, nurturing relationships. Through regular personal home visits, parent group meetings, developmental screenings and connection to community resources the program: - increases parent knowledge of early childhood development and improves parenting practices - provides early detection of developmental delays and health issues - increases children's school readiness and school success - prevents child abuse and neglect The core values of the PAT model are that: - parents are their children's first and most influential teachers - the early years of a child's life are critical for optimal development and provide the foundation for success in school and life - research should be the foundation of parent education and family support services - an understanding and appreciation of the history and traditions of diverse cultures is essential
The mission of the MTAC Foundation is to provide opportunities for further musical education, the creation of new music, and public performances through scholarships, grants, and awards.

The Roundhill Association (RHA) is the PTA of Roundhill PrimarySchool. Our aim is to raise additional funds for the school to fund equipment for extra-curricular activities and outdoor play areas. We do this throughout the year running events suitable for all the family! Come & join in the fun!
The Gorsey Bank PTA community work hard to raise additional funds for the school in order to provide those extra things that make the school day even more fun and enriching. We normally do this with events but COVID has stopped most of our ability to do this. We need your support more than ever.
