We find state schools with above 30% pupil premium and help fund educational experiences that will help both the students and the teachers!

Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world with the lowest level of education in Africa. We are helping to build classroom blocks and toilets in primary school in Neno district. We are also building a boarding secondary school with nursery for girls and young women so those with kids can continue with their education.

TREC Education has pioneered educational programs about renewable energy and energy conservation for the past decade. Our hands on experiential educational programs have grown out of interest of the Windshare turbine located at Exhibition Place which is the first urban-sited, cooperatively owned turbine in North America. Our Programs -Our Kids' World of Energy program offers curriculum linked programs for elementary and secondary school students that introduce climate change, engineering and energy science. Through these curriculum links, we are able to help students explore the science behind renewable energy systems and the opportunities they hold. -Our Kids' World of Festival inspires and educates thousands of students and parents each year in the science and importance of renewable energy, energy conservation and sustainability. In community spaces across Ontario, we facilitate fun, hands-on workshops that provide a memorable experience for the young and not so young.

We work with these students to apply for admission and scholarship to top colleges and universities in the United States and elsewhere. Student Athlete Cohort Education Matters' Student Athlete Cohort works with exceptional high school student athletes to apply for sports scholarships at colleges and universities in the United States. We value the balance between academics and athletics and seek the best match for each student. Zimbabwe Career Connect Zimbabwe Career Connect is an experiential learning program that matches Zimbabwean students studying in the United States with organizations and companies in Zimbabwe for a two month internship during their June-July holidays. Yale Young African Scholars Education Matters is the local partner for the Yale Young African Scholars Program in Zimbabwe. We mentor the Zimbabwean students involved in the program and work with local educators to offer workshops on the U.S. admissions process. The Zimbabwean YYAS program takes place in annually in August in Harare.
