Founded by Tia Maria Torres, Villalobos Rescue Center is a 501c3 registered charity focusing on rehabilitation and rescue of the American Pit Bull Terrier dog, with help from the parolees who work and care for the dogs. VRC works ceaselessly to give Pit Bulls another chance in life. Each and EVERY dog gets spayed or neutered, and given any medical treatment necessary, before the search for that perfect home begins. Now located in Louisiana, due to the overwhelming need to help other dogs, VRC has now become an all breed rescue with the main focus still being on Pit Bulls. Now that we are in the South, we have to deal with the heartworm disease. This means that 99% of the dogs we take in, enter our facility with this pre-existing condition. It not only takes three to six months to cure, but costs up to $500 per dog.

Friends of GALA aims to close the economic and gender disparities that exist within STEM fields todayby removing interpersonal, academic and financial barriers for all girls who attend Girls Academic Leadership Academy, the only public all-girl STEM school in Los Angeles, and in the state of California. We support over 700 girls each year in grades 6-12; our school is made up of 65% students of color; we have 100% AP enrollment, and 100% college acceptance. Your giving provides critical financial support for forward-thinking, high-quality programs for GALA students. These include STEM-focused educational programs, technology resources, college readiness, operations and community support each student needs to build confidence to pursue degrees and careers in STEM.

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our comprehensive approach to whole girl development equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers and grow up healthy, educated, and independent.

Girls Global Academy is the only all-girls charter high school in Washington, DC. GGA is designed with the particular needs of girls of color in mind; as a result, it will positively impact all girls. Our mission is to foster pathways to lead and learn.

Girls for Gender Equity is an intergenerational organization committed to the physical, psychological, social and economic development of girls and women. Through education, organizing and physical fitness, Girls for Gender Equity encourages communities to remove barriers and create opportunities for girls and women to live self-determined lives.

Our aim is to raise the profile of girls’ football and increase participation in the sport. Haslingden has girls aged 5+ playing for the club and over 200 members. The introduction of a free Saturday Soccer club for girls aged 5 to 11 has seen over 90 girls take part.

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Our council of Girls on the Run serves girls in Benton, Franklin, and Walla Walla counties.

Girls on the Run inspires 3rd-8th grade girls to be more joyful, healthy and confident using an interactive and fun curriculum that creatively integrates running. We give girls the tools and skills necessary to navigate their world confidently and to unleash their limitless potential.

Bedford Ladies and Girls Football Club offers opportunities for girls and ladies to play association football at an amateur level. The club offers walking football, and runs after-school sessions to allow more girls to try football and encourage them to consider playing.
