WODIN responds to the disproportionate impact faced by our target groups, created by systemic discrimination alongside common barriers such as language, low income low/no understanding of Information Technology/digital resources. We bridge the socio-economic gap between Black African immigrant women, their families; communities in Merseyside; and the rest of society by simplifying information technology and digital resources; hands on digital inclusion training/tools; and events, bespoke advice, guidance, support, and advocacy services that applies learning and meets related needs. This includes one-to-one advice and mentoring on personal finances, improved mental health, return to work events, welfare checks to women to meet subsistence needs.

We also offer assistance to family, friends, and partners close to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We mitigate the impact of trauma by building resiliency and reducing risk factors at all levels.

We plan for and fund our own activities, Arts / Culture Programs offer ceramics,traditional bead and leather workshops. We advocte in mainstream by sitting on Advisory Groups like: Brock Un., Niagara College Education and Niagara Abor. Children's Planning Councils. We house a reference library, with videos, a variety of self help books,business, reference texts,reports and studies. We offer an Aboriginal Child Advocate program to families who are in contact with the local CAS. We also offer an Aboriginal Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process for these families. We are currently ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND SPONSORSHIPS TOWARDS OUR 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. Contact us for sponsorship info. Our biggest struggle is ongoing funding as we are a wholly independent organization, soley operated by native women, by for and about native women and their families.

Sufficient Grace Ministries For Women

Sufficient Grace Ministries for Women, Inc provides support and resources for hundreds of families facing perinatal and infant loss worldwide each year. SGM also offers in-person support from certified comfort doulas and remembrance photographers to bereaved families throughout the state of Ohio. Birth professionals can receive training on perinatal hospice and bereavement support through our CEU-approved workshops and certification programs.
