We work to protect the right to a childhood for children in urban poverty - the right to read, play and feel safe. We work with partners giving education or protection to children from refugee, migrant or internally displaced communities in Pakistan, and create programmes for learning and wellbeing.

At Maranatha Care Children our belief is that South African orphans, streetchildren and other children and young people at risk, should not be denied theopportunities that every child deserves.We aim to help South African children by offering development in education and life skills, providing a suitable home environment and safeguarding the future of thosechildren and young people in residential care. Children in Hunger is a small international development charity fighting child poverty in Brazils poorest north-east region. Working in the slums of Fortaleza with grassroots Brazilian organisations it provides nutritional food, care and education for more than 275 impoverished children each day.

Congo Children Trust works with the Kimbilio project in Lubumbashi, DRCongo to provide street children with access to food, shelter, education, health care & training through our day centre, four homes & primary school. The ultimate aim: reconnection with their families, communities & society.

Masomo For Children fulfills its mission by: (1) sponsoring tuition scholarships for children living in orphanages and marginalized communities to attend primary and secondary schools and vocational colleges; (2) providing these students with access to educational resources and other basic supplies to assist them in their studies.

Vulnerable Children Society is a vibrant registered Canadian charity managed by a committed group of Canadian volunteers, dedicated to helping some of the most vulnerable children in the world: one by one. We currently run several grassroots programs to help children and families in Ethiopia, in partnership with Ethiopian and Canadian organizations. Vulnerable Children Society supports the care of HIV+/HIV- children in Faya Orphanage in Adama, Ethiopia. We sponsor HIV+ and otherwise vulnerable children in our House 2 House support program, in several Ethiopian communities. Vulnerable Children Society has organized food aid for drought victims, and fundraised for educational supplies and furnishings for rural Ethiopian children. Children of Persia works to improve the well‑being of vulnerable children and their families by funding medical care, education, and social‑service projects. They bridge U.S. donors, NGOs and partners (including licensed humanitarian work in Iran) to deliver assistance and community support both in the U.S. and abroad.

Children of Bahia is dedicated to fighting child poverty in Bahia, Brazil. We raise funds to support local projects who currently help over two hundred children with shelter, food, medical care, education and the love and support they so desperately need. We hope to help many more with your support. It is hard to understand how these children end up with no-one. Sometimes parents die or are imprisoned or fall ill; sometimes children flee homes due to violence or abuse; sometimes children become part of a gang; there are many reasons. Such children are often viewed at best as a nuisance and at worst as a danger to public safety. Violence against them is common place, and the only way of surviving is through begging, prostitution and crime. It is the aim of Children of Bahia to help to look after and educate as many children as we can over the coming years, to help guide them into a brighter future full of love and support.
