The mission of the Kosten foundation is four-fold:To establish support and a forum for communication amongst those afflicted with pancreatic cancer via support group meetings and this website.To assist with the training of future pancreatic surgeons.To provide funding for a yearly Memphis public lecture on pancreatic cancer delivered by a nationally and/or internationally renowned expert on the disease.To provide funding for clinical and basic research toward improving outcomes of those afflicted with pancreatic cancer.

Wings of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is a Calgary-based charity that provides financial assistance to Breast Cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. The majority of assistance is used to pay for basic needs including groceries, medication, utilities, rent and other fundamental living expenses. Additionally, the Foundation provides support to related programs which assist patients in various psychosocial elements of their healing. The charity is entirely volunteer run and has minimal overhead expenses.

ISCC's mission is to raise funds and support children with cancer by sending funds to organizations that provide assistance to impoverished children.

Wellwood is a community-based, non-profit organization which provides information, supportive care programs and peer support to people who have received a diagnosis of cancer, their families and caregivers, and healthcare providers. Working with existing community agencies and cancer care providers, Wellwood aims to provide integrative supportive care.

The Rare Cancer Research Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit that accelerates research into rare cancers by building patient‑centered research infrastructure, coordinating patient tissue and data donations (via its Pattern.org initiative), and funding strategic collaborations so promising therapies can move to researchers and patients faster.

The Hills of Erin Cancer Prevention Foundation was established to 1. Prevent sickness and disability, specifically cancers of all kinds, caused by exposure to environmental or occupational carcinogens and contaminants. 2. Advance education and increase public understanding regarding carcinogens and contaminants in the environment by delivering public workshops and seminars. 3.Conduct and/or publish research into safe alternatives to carcinogens and contaminants in consumer products.

Our Mission: To support people facing breast cancer by funding direct and emergency services.Our Vision: No one should face breast cancer alone.To accomplish this we: Seek sponsorships, contributions and hold fundraising events; Assess needs and evaluate programs that best address the challenges faced by people undergoing breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery; Provide grants to Bay Area nonprofits that have demonstrated the ability to achieve their program goal, and evaluate results of funded programsA volunteer-based organization, we're guided by our thriver spirit and passion to touch the hearts of those who need our help.

Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services exists to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by supporting their families in the challenges they face. We provide family-centered care that addresses the emotional, practical, and financial struggles for families of children and teens during treatment, families experiencing anticipatory grief, and those who are bereaved.We envision a community where every child facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis has a strong, supported and informed family empowered to fully participate in their care. We strive to inspire compassionate action within local communities to create a safety net of support for the unique needs of each child and family.

Our mission is to help people by providing research-based education on how to prevent, cope with, and beat cancer through diet, lifestyle and other immune-boosting approaches.

ORGANIZATION PROFILE Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills was created out of necessity in the fall of 2000 when the Canadian Cancer Society moved out of Georgetown. Since then this registered charity has provided practical care to hundreds of cancer patients in Halton Hills. With the community behind us, and many donations, we were able to open our office right here in Georgetown, serving Halton Hills. It is our goal to maintain high standards in patient care, offering support, dignity and hope. All our services are free of charge. Please visit our web site to see all the services we provide. It is the foundation's mission to raise funds to support the children living in our community that are afflicted with cancer and other life threatening diseases by improving the quality of life for them and their family while they courageously battle these devastating diseases.
