We are a 501(c)3 national nonprofit Veterans Service Organization founded in Washington DC in 1928, incorporated, and chartered by the United States Congress. We find strength in the fellowship of other Gold Star Mothers who strive to keep the memory of our sons and daughters alive by working to help veterans, those currently serving in the military, their families and our communities. These funds that we are collecting will go toward "Service Dog" program to help prevent Military suicides.

We’re driven by passion and fueled by compassion, with a mission to harness the universal appeal of automobiles to connect with individuals in need of mental health support. Our ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and a strong mental drive, working tirelessly to reduce the number of suicides and provide hope, support, and resources to those who need it most.

War causes wounds and suffering that last beyond the battlefield. Swords to Plowshares' mission is to heal the wounds of war, to restore dignity, hope and self-sufficiency to all veterans in need, and to prevent and end homelessness and poverty among veterans.

U.S.VETS mission is to prevent and end veteran homelessness. We empower veterans and families through housing, comprehensive services and advocacy. U.S.VETS is the nation’s largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk veterans. After 32 years of operation, U.S.VETS has grown from a single facility to 40 residential and service centers in 18 locations across 7 states – Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas, Virginia, and Maryland – as well as Washington D.C and the U.S. Territory of Guam. We provide wraparound and preventive services that create pathways out of homelessness for veterans and their families. Our services include housing, case management, mental health support, workforce development, and more.

Every day, 22 veteran lives are lost to suicide. Our mission is to end this terrible statistic! Victory Gym VHC was formed by disabled veterans. We continue to be operated by both veteran and civilian volunteers. We have the unique ability to address the specific needs of combat veterans through firsthand knowledge. Victory Gym VHC offers a community where members “speak the same language”, share similar experiences, and can once again feel camaraderie and a sense of importance. Victory Gym VHC is a special place where everyone is welcome. We are entirely staffed by volunteers (including management), all of our equipment has been donated, and every penny goes toward furthering our mission. Our mission is to help everyone who served, their families and caregivers, have their best possible life after serving our Country. With your contribution, we are able to reach more and more vets, hopefully helping to lower the 28 suicides a day, decrease addiction, and so much more. After all, they volunteered to risk their lives for ours, shouldn’t we help them reacclimate to civilian life as best as possible after their service? Since 2016 KAV has been working hard to reach as many people as possible to make them aware of over 90 issues that may be hampering them. We help them gain a better understanding of those issues, as well as how and where to get help. The heart of our Free service is our website, www.KnowAVet.org where, in addition to being able to understand each issue (including hundreds of videos), they can search to find both government and vetted private services for each issue, by zip code. For those who are overwhelmed by all the options, we have live Champions. We do not make decisions for them, but rather guide them through the process of making their own choices and setting their own priorities, before using a zip code locator. We appreciate each and every one of our donors. We wouldn’t be where we are without your support, with an average of 1,800 visitors to our site per week and 1,400+ subscribers to our Free e-newsletter achieving a consistent 40% open rate. Because we are a virtual charity, our overhead is less than $1,000 per month, so almost all of your donation will go toward program implementation. DVEN connects disabled veterans (and their caregivers/supporters) with VA benefits and trustworthy veteran-support organizations, operates events and programs (including emotional-support/companion-dog support and Rally4Vets events), and maintains an online resource hub — with a stated focus on reducing veteran suicide and improving access to services.
