Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights was established by Robert F. Kennedy's friends and family in 1968 to carry on his vision of a more just and peaceful world. As a global organization with a unique connection to one of the 20th century's most inspiring leaders, we seek to create change by partnering with the women and men on the front lines of the struggle for human rights and social justice, from the courtroom, to the classroom, to the boardroom. By standing with the bravest people on Earth, we strive to fulfill Robert F. All of our programs leverage advocacy, training, litigation, and education efforts to empower key participants in the international movement for human rights; create lasting change in the legal and social structures that engender inequality; and educate tomorrow's leaders, thereby enhancing their capacity to advance justice and equality. Partners for Human Rights uses advocacy, litigation, and training to ensure that the rights of every human being receive the protection they deserve. Speak Truth To Power is a global initiative that uses the experiences of courageous defenders from around the world to educate students and others about human rights while urging them to take action. Young Leaders is a leadership program that motivates a diverse community of young professionals to take action for social justice and human rights. Compass facilitates discussions of sustainable investing criteria among institutional investors, enabling them to understand how social, environmental, governance, and human rights considerations can mitigate investment risk. Legacy introduces Robert F. Kennedy's remarkable life and career to a new generation through exhibits, classroom materials, and the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Book and Journalism Awards.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation's (“TAPF”) mission is to address childhood hunger and malnutrition in India simultaneously and to increase underprivileged children's access to education. TAPF's vision is that no child shall be deprived of education because of hunger. The Sanskrit words “Akshaya Patra,” meaning inexhaustible vessel, aptly reflects the organization's aspirations to provide unlimited food to underprivileged children and mitigate their sufferings. The organization's long-term goal is to replicate this model throughout India and the world. Our partnership with the Government of India and various State Governments, along with the persistent support from corporates, individual donors, and well-wishers have helped us to grow from serving just 1,500 children in 5 schools in 2000 to serving 2 million children. Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest (not-for-profit run) Mid-Day Meal Program serving wholesome food every school day to over 2 million children from 22,000 schools across 14 states & 2 Union territory of India.

Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, they develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond. Room to Read focuses on two critical areas of educational development where they believe they can have the greatest impact: literacy and gender equality in education. Under these two initiatives, Room to Read implements five core programmes: School Libraries, Book Publishing, School Construction, Reading and Writing Instruction, and Girls' Education.

Covenant House provides a community of hope and healing to homeless young people in need of a safe haven. For kids who have run away from or been forced out of their family home or aged out of foster care, Covenant House provides a temporary home and a continuum of services designed to help them escape the streets forever and transition to a life with stable housing, a solid educational foundation, and sustained employment. . Founded in 1972, Covenant House has reached more than one million young people with immediate assistance and the support necessary to transition from a life on the streets to a life with a future.

Rebuilding Together is a national housing organization that envisions a safe and healthy home for every person. Together with over one hundred affiliates throughout the country, we provide critical home repairs for low-income families at no cost, including seniors, veterans, families with young children and neighbors recovering from disasters. Over the past 30 years, we have successfully: engaged 3.99 million volunteers who have completed 191,955 repairs and rehabs for homes, nonprofit facilities and community spaces, which have collectively served over 5.7 million community members totaling a $1.86 billion reinvestment in communities across the country since our inception.

The mission of Operation Healing Forces (OHF) is to serve the needs of our active-duty and recent-veteran wounded, ill, and injured Special Operations Forces (SOF) and their spouses by starting or continuing the process of mentally, physically and emotionally healing in preparation to return to the fight or transition successfully into civilian life.
