The mission of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The organization's vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of injured service members in our nation’s history, by CONNECTING, SERVING, and EMPOWERING the wounded men and women who so bravely volunteered to serve our nation on or after the events of September 11, 2001. They CONNECT warriors, their families, and caregivers to peers, programs, and communities to ensure they have a readily available network of support. SERVE by providing free mental and physical health and wellness programs, career and benefits counseling, and by providing ongoing support for the most severely injured. And EMPOWER warriors to live life on their own terms, mentor fellow veterans and service members, and embody the WWP logo by carrying one another on a path toward recovery. Today, more than 110,000 wounded warriors and 26,000 family support members and caregivers are registered with WWP and have access to free programs and services that CONNECT, SERVE, and EMPOWER.

One Tree Planted is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to global reforestation. The organization makes it simple for anyone to help the environment and support healthy forests. Mission: To foster a sustainable and resilient future through innovative nature-based solutions rooted in the science of trees. Vision: A future where climate change is mitigated, biodiversity thrives, and the well-being of life on earth is transformed through the power of trees. To date, One Tree Planted has planted over 171 million trees in collaboration with more than 490 partners across 84 countries. Together, we’re doing more than planting trees. We’re restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, supporting local communities, and growing a greener future for the next generations.

Our mission is to channel the healing powers of the ocean to restore hope, renew purpose, and revitalize community. Operation Surf’s curriculum-based programs aim to inspire injured military and veterans to seek wellness in all aspects of their lives while providing the necessary resources, tools, and peer-to-peer support to continue this mindset indefinitely. By staying true to our core values of care, inclusion, commitment, integrity, and communication; we change participants’ lives – one wave at a time.

BROOKLYN INDEPENDENT IS A 6TH-8TH PRIVATE MIDDLE SCHOOL WITH A FIERCE BELIEF IN DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION. WE SPECIALIZE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL LEARNING BY BALANCING HIGH RIGOR AND HIGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. OUR SLIDING-SCALE TUITION MODEL ENSURES THAT ALL FAMILIES HAVE ACCESS TO AND CAN AFFORD AN EXCELLENT EDUCATION. WE BELIEVE DIVERSITY MAKES US BETTER, SMARTER, AND STRONGER.

A nonprofit creating edible gardens for folks of modest means and those experiencing homelessness. We create and support onsite, organic, and edible gardens for, and with, residents of affordable housing and homeless shelters. All of the resident food gardens are supported with weekly maintenance visits from our garden maintenance team. We host monthly Educational and Engagement Workshops at each garden, with the goal of increasing onsite resident stewardship.

The Extreme Tech ChallengeSM (XTC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to elevating the next-generation of entrepreneurs creating new technologies and innovations to benefit humankind. Inspired by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the XTC supports and showcases the innovators harnessing the power of technology to address the greatest challenges facing humanity and our planet. Through its global startup competition, XTC provides top contenders the potential for global visibility, the ability to raise capital, network with global entities (corporations, VCs, partners), and gain mentorship opportunities they need to pioneer technological breakthroughs and help power a sustainable future.

Donations made to The Golden Hour Fund will be split evenly between Baby2Baby and Crew Nation. Baby2Baby: Baby2Baby provides children living in poverty, ages 0–12 years, with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. They have been working around the clock to provide millions of essential items to children impacted by COVID-19 and have distributed 15 million essential items, including diapers, hygiene, formula and more to children across the country. Crew Nation: Live music inspires millions around the world, but the concerts we all enjoy wouldn’t be possible without the countless crew members working behind the scenes. As COVID-19 puts concerts on pause, we want to extend a helping hand to the touring and venue crews who depend on shows to make a living. Crew Nation was created to do just that. Crew members are the backbone of the live music industry, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting them through this temporary intermission until we can once again unite millions around the world through the power of live music. Crew Nation is powered by Music Forward Foundation, a charitable 501c3 organization, that will be administering the fund.

Live music is central to Colorado’s culture. Our musicians, their crews, and our venues are iconic and beloved across the world. Music is a force in the experience economy; attracting tourists, new residents, and business leaders to the culture of Colorado in good times. In times of hardship music is our salve. Up to 16,000 Coloradans are employed in this industry, and the COVID-19 Pandemic has created a desperate need to support the people whose lifelines have been disrupted. We're going to use the power of music to reinvigorate our workers and our economy.

Donations raised to this fund will be split evenly between Black Lives Matter, Campaign Zero, and the NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund. Black Lives Matter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc. is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. Campaign Zero is a comprehensive platform of research-based policy solutions to end police brutality in America. Funds donated to Campaign Zero support the analysis of policing practices across the country, research to identify effective solutions to end police violence, technical assistance to organizers leading police accountability campaigns and the development of model legislation and advocacy to end police violence nationwide. NAACP Legal Defence & Education Fund is America's legal counsel on issues of race. Through advocacy and litigation, LDF focuses on issues of education, voter protection, economic justice and criminal justice.
